Several people were killed after two explosions at Manchester Arena at the end of an Ariana Grande gig tonight.
Video footage showed people fleeing in tears from the venue after reports of bangs immediately after the concert finished.
Bloodied concertgoers were pictured being helped by emergency services outside the gig and armed police were seen patrolling the arena.
Evie Brewster, who attended the concert, told MailOnline: 'Ariana Grange had just finished her last song and left the stage when a huge explosion sounded.
'Suddenly everybody started screaming and running for the exit.

32 years in the Army taught me that first reports are almost always wrong. An Ariana Grande concert is a tempting target, in that she symbolizes much that Islamists hate, and it is a large soft target.
However a concert venue has a lot of electrical equipment that can go bang or explode.
Too soon to rule anything out or speculate.

Evidently, in the foyer/ticket area there was an explosion of some sort, and there were dead people in that vicinity.
As you state, there are things that go bang in places, and it’s not impossible that it was some form of equipment.
I tend to doubt that would cause fatalities though.

They have a security video posted that shows a flash of light...that was so bright it showed through to the outside of the arena. This was no accident or balloon or transformer.

Security videos are reporting two explosions occurred. Reports that EOD is heading for the nearby Victoria Station.
If it actually is the foyer, then the possibility of a terrorist attack increases. I was under the impression initially that this was nearer the stage.
We observers should let the police, medics, and others do their jobs and after the smoke clears, we can figure out what actually happened.

Yes. Evidently some folks leaving early were met by officers who told them to exit another way. As they turned to go that way, the officer said, “RUN”, and then the explosion went off.

Newscast just said 23 dead and multiple injuries. Nothing yet on real cause. Wondering if it was a late concert finale that went off and because she was off stage it felt wrong...but yeah I’m thinking ripe target for terrorists. Damn shame.

Chris Parker, 33, was walking through the station towards the box office when one explosion went off.
He said he saw at least six people seriously injured on the floor and told the Sun: “I was walking through and one huge bang went off.
“There was nuts and bolts flying everywhere, and also human flesh. It was just one bang and a white flash. I treated a woman called Pauline. I’ve got blood on my hands. It was like a war zone inside where the box office is.
“There looked to be at least six people potentially fatally wounded. I saw one woman’s leg off. It is mayhem.”
An attack by Moslems is, by political definition, MOT a terrorist attack. I agree in one sense. It is not terrorists doing the killing. It is Moslems killing Infidels who are engaged in activities that are haram. Thus it is mandatory to kill those infidels, or as many as is practical. This is not “terrorism.” They really don’t care if the people are terrified. That infidels survive and thus can be “terrified” illustrates the insufficiency of the attack.
