Evidently, in the foyer/ticket area there was an explosion of some sort, and there were dead people in that vicinity.
As you state, there are things that go bang in places, and it’s not impossible that it was some form of equipment.
I tend to doubt that would cause fatalities though.
We see as it plays out.
If it actually is the foyer, then the possibility of a terrorist attack increases. I was under the impression initially that this was nearer the stage.
We observers should let the police, medics, and others do their jobs and after the smoke clears, we can figure out what actually happened.
