Dogs Thrown Off Hospital Parking Tower in Oak Lawn: Police
OAK LAWN, IL Two gravely injured dogs were found Saturday afternoon on the Advocate Christ Medical Center campus in Oak Lawn. Oak Lawn police say it appears that the dogs may have been thrown off a parking tower.
Oak Lawn Police Chief Michael Murray said the first call came around 12:07 p.m. Saturday. Officers went to the medical center campus, where two dogs were found between parking towers B and C on Kostner Avenue near 93rd Street. Parking Tower C is a free patient and visitor lot. Parking B provides permit parking. Both towers are five stories tall.
Officers on the scene said it appeared that one or both dogs may have been thrown off the parking towers. One of the injured dogs died. The surviving dog suffered broken legs and is being treated at Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge.
No arrests have been made. Oak Lawn police are currently reviewing security video with Advocate Christs Public Safety Department. The investigation remains ongoing. The police chief said one of the dogs has a breeders microchip, but it was not helpful in locating the dogs owner

This is the lowest. Burn them alive when caught. My Achilles heal ...El Deguello no mecy.
Good thing President Trump was out of the Country.
The WaPoo would be publishing a story from an Anonymous Source saying that President Trump did it.
This is why I hate humans...catch them and set them on fire BEFORE you throw THEM off the tower!
Were the dogs gay?
muslims hate dogs.
so do other subhumans.
Prayers they get caught and thrown into the garbage grinder. Prayers for the surviving dog too......
Throw him off the parking deck, see if he gets off with just a broken leg. Sorry piece of sh!+.
Owner was elderly man, heartbroken, praying over little dead body. Younger poodle scheduled for surgery tomorrow. Precious, innocent little love-filled creature

Trump throws media, Israel into badly needed disarray
President Donald Trump is unpredictable and that might actually benefit two important goals. The first is to thwart the stranglehold Israel has on American foreign policy, blocking peace with the Palestinians. The second is more important, to confront the mainstream news media which fuels the flames of racism and hate to sell newspapers
By Ray Hanania
All the naysayers claimed that Donald Trump would sell Palestine down the river, like it wasnt already sold down the river by all of his presidential predecessors.
They warned that under Trump, the Middle East would turn into an Israeli occupied backyard and that Palestine would vanish, as if it its existence wasnt already put in jeopardy by a series of Presidential subsequence to Israels political power.
The advocates of these anti-Trump Middle East fear mongering sit in privileged ivory towers in the Americas mainstream news media, claiming on one hand that they fear for the rights of minorities, civil rights, and peace, and yet on the other hand churn out vicious one-sided editorials and slanted news reporting that promotes its causes at the expense of truth.
For the mainstream American news media, hate and racism sell and thats how they make money. They, like the extremist fanatics on both sides of the Middle East Jews and Arabs strive to keep the conflict alive. They need it. They need to to generate revenues and create a reason for their existence.

Animal Rights Activists Pack Alleged Dog Tosser’s Bond Hearing
Judge tells cheering gallery, “this is not Romper Room,” after setting bail at $350,000.
By Lorraine Swanson (Patch Staff) - May 23, 2017 7:26 pm ET
OAK LAWN, IL — An Oak Lawn man accused of throwing two toy poodles from the roof of a hospital parking garage appeared for bond hearing Tuesday before a courtroom packed with animal shelter workers, volunteers and dog lovers. One of the dogs died and the other survived.
Edward Hanania, 22, appeared with his attorney, Charles Ingles, before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on two felony charges of aggravated animal cruelty. He is currently on probation for a drug conviction, according to court records.
The prosecutor said that on May 19, a woman found two lost poodles in Chicago. She placed ads on various lost pet Facebook groups, including pictures of the dogs, later identified as Angel and Guero. The next day, May 20, Hanania arranged to meet the woman. He gave her a $20 reward and then took the dogs, according to the allegations.
After Hanania took the dogs, the prosecutor said he drove over to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. From the fifth story of Parking Garage C, Hanania is alleged to have dropped both dogs to ground below. Guero, a 6-year-old toy poodle, hit the concrete and died. The younger dog, Angel, the daughter of Guero, landed in the grass. Angel suffered broken legs and head trauma.
The prosecutor said the event was captured on hospital surveillance video. Hanania does not have any connection to the dogs or their owner.
Ingles said his client is a graduate of Oak Lawn Community High School and is currently enrolled full time at Moraine Valley Community College. He lives with his family in Oak Lawn and is also a licensed real estate agent.
Hanania was sentenced in March to 24 months probation for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. According to court records, Hanania was arrested for selling aluminum foil balls of heroin and cocaine to a confidential source in June 2016. Two of the sales took place within the boundaries of Brandt Park and Parkland Preparatory Academy, an alternative school for special education-eligible students, in Oak Lawn.
Judge Havis set bail at $350,000. The prosecutor also asked for special conditions of bond, that he have no contact with companion animals while his case in pending. Any pets currently living in Hananias residence must also be surrendered to animal control authorities. Hanania is due back in court June 19 in Bridgeview.

Good start.
Hey KeyLargo,
Thanks for the update.
Hope this guys life goes to hell.
There’s never an adequate penalty for hurting animals.
He actually paid $20 for dogs he was going to toss off building?
WTF - this guy’s a licensed real estate agent? entrusted with the keys to people’s property & access to their pets & other valuables? all on top of being a drug manufacturer or at least a dealer?
HTF is guy even bonded for work for that sort of position?
Put him UNDER the jail.
I’m glad to see the judge deemed him worthy of a high bond & that other animals in his home be removed for their safety.
But I picked up from another article that he may have been seen smashing a black Schnauzer puppy against the inside of his car window while parked in a Target parking deck. What’s this POS doing drawing breath? Maybe the judge considered what right-minded ppl might do if they caught him wandering about freely, now that he’s been discovered.
Listen to the 911 call hospital security placed for poodles dropped from parking deck
Zak Koeske
Daily Southtown
May 26, 2017
A public safety employee at Advocate Christ Medical Center notified police of the two toy poodles believed to have been dropped from the fifth floor of a parking deck at the Oak Lawn hospital on Saturday, according to an audio recording.
In a recording of the 911 call obtained by the Daily Southtown, the caller identifies himself as “public safety at Christ” and tells the dispatcher that two badly injured dogs are in the walkway between two parking towers.
“Apparently there’s two small dogs in the walkway between our Garage C and Garage B,” the man calmly tells the dispatcher. “One is like barely breathing and the other one has got a really bad broken leg, so I don’t know if somebody threw ‘em off the garage or how they ended up there.”
As the dispatcher attempts to confirm the exact location of the injured animals, the caller tells him that an officer has arrived at the scene. The dispatcher then confirms the location and tells him that he’ll send an officer to “take a look and see what’s going on.”
“Ok, sounds good,” the security worker responds in a friendly tone that belies the severity of the situation.
Upon arrival at the scene, Oak Lawn police “rushed” both dogs to the Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, its president Linda Estrada said.
Four-year-old Güero, the older of the two dogs, died en route, Estrada said. The other dog, 14-month-old Angel, was in “horrible shock,” and his legs were badly broken, but he survived, she said. Angel underwent successful surgery and is in recovery, according to a post Wednesday on a crowdfunding page aimed at raising money for the dog’s medical expenses.
Edward Hanania, a 22-year-old Oak Lawn man, has been charged with two felony counts of animal cruelty in connection with the incident, and for violating the conditions of his probation on an unrelated March conviction for delivering a controlled substance.
