Correct me if I’m wrong.

If it takes 3 seconds to travel the 1.5 miles that bullet will fall many feet due to the force of gravity. The applicable formula is:

S = .5 * g * t *t

Where
g = 32.2 feet per second per second
t = 3 seconds

This gives a total drop of about 58 feet!

Compensate for that sometime you wannabe sharpshooters.

I just did my first shooting at 1000 yds, using a friend’s rifle that was already sighted in and ready to go. It’s just amazing even at that distance! Hard to imagine 1.5 miles!
