His wife and three sons had no idea that he had any sexual confusion. He had a complete change about ten years ago. 6’ 6 at least and x semi pro foot a player. YUGE guy. Can’t imagine him as a woman — but that was his choice Sideswipe was just a reference that they didn’t see it coming!
Yes, this is a tough one as I rescued this cat a few years ago. Beat up and sickly when I found him on my deck one cold icy winter night....covered with snow and wet to the bone...sick and miserable. But he’s had a kings rein in every way here since then....and he’s known that.
He was older when he came here and has all the ‘conditions’ of an older cat soon to leave this world.....but today he had black watery bowels and we know his issues have run the course.
It’s just hard................

I have been reading the FR FB page and following our downtime anxiously awaiting my FR fix. So great to have FR back. I read mostly at work but of course there can’t reply. Don’t want to log on there for many reasons. I have so missed my ‘special’ place to run for a piece of sanity here at FR.
Today, one head hunter called me, job is for Russian Company, owned by Russian, head office is in Maryland and Branches are in Moscow, US, UK and Middle East.
I am still laughing. Now I have Russian connection.
Thanks........I may get another cat down the road....probably go to the shelter for one if I decide to do that. Meanwhile my neighbors cat comes over to visit now and then who will surely take the edge off.

This breaks my heart to hear this about your cat. I too brought in a cat from outside. He too has really changed our home. Our other two cats really love him.
I have often joked my place is like the island of misfit toys. I knew which puppy we would get when I saw the one with the broken hairless tip tail (it grew back). Years before that another puppy when it had ‘the wrong markings’ which they say they normally drowned as puppies (yes, no kidding. It was a white boxer). The ones that need a good home are very special to our hearts indeed. No wonder this one is extra special to you. You are extra special to this cat too. You know they remember. And I fully believe they are spiritual beings too.
WOW Tweety, now you can ask for a REAL job in our White House. A Russian background is certainly a PASS!
You gave him a lot of love and a good life. We love our fur babies. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Too bad we can’t flood these fake news stations and papers with ‘Russia’ connection stuff - maybe even making them ‘on the connection radars’ throwing red flags. Hmm, or maybe we can.
What is odd is I'm not an animal lover by any means......a few pats on the head from animals along the way, (other peoples) and I'm fine enough with that. But this fellow just really got to me that night...he was so pathetic and really not an attractive cat at all. Pretty banged up from being on his own for a long while, the vet said,....his face was scarred from old cat fights, and his ear bent back permanently....even his paw pads were calloused. But I have loved this big Tabby cat....we have understood each other well...I will miss him.....

Very kind of you. I like to think I am the voice of reason but usually the one to not want a pet - the ‘no’ person. As I know who will be the one who takes care of all things coming home. But my daughter knows I am really a big sap and if they make eye contact with me that is it. I get ‘sucked’ in.
I guess we never forget the day we found them.....and as much every day that we see them enjoy being spoiled. My landlord said ...”That cat knows he just hit the lottery coming to your home!”....and that’s been so true. Still is tonight as I watch him....hard letting go when you know what has to be done.
Well that’s pretty much it I think....these pathetic creatures come into our life and just draw us to them. “Kitty” certainly did that to me without question. I can still see his face looking up at me when I pulled back the grill cover that night....wet and miserable he was....and it was so cold and snowy. He was hiding under the cover to get out of the elements......it was sleeting by then. So you can imagine you simply act without any thought.....so he was truly rescued that night..... The vet said he would not have made it through the night otherwise, he had a serious respiratory infection, covered with fleas, and ear mites.....dirty and just a mess.
So he found a home and someone to love him back to health. Within a week or so he was well again. And promptly made this his home. Such a polite cat too. I’ve enjoyed him very much..and will to the very end.
I will watch Pres Trump Saudi landing , He will be there in 2.30 mins.
