They may as well have left the baby alone with a loaded gun as a plaything as leave it alone with a pit bull.

Pit bulls - loving and friendly, until they aren’t.

3,2,1 countdown to pit bull lovers saying, “but it isn’t the breed, it’s the owners”
So full of cr@p—exterminate them
Poor baby—just horrible, and for what, a lousy animal...

I would note the family was to poor to bury their own child, yet they could afford a Pit-bull. Now asking society at large to pay for the funeral expenses via Go Fund Me.

why anyone buys those ugly killers is beyond me.

Every animal shelter in the US is filled to overflowing with these killers.

Stupidity keeps people putting these things around children...and even owning them to being with. It really has a price, does it not??

No way I’d ever have one of those crazy-eyed monsters around my kids.

They have the same eyes as lions, tigers, and other predatory cats. Even when they’re calm you can see them sizing you up.

Ridiculous, I wouldn’t even leave my mini doxie alone with a little one, much less one of my very young grandchildren. Their aggressive and don’t like anything new taking attention away from them. Now my golden I would leave with any age child. It is the breed, not the ownership or training.

Pit Bulls and people, especially kids and babies, do not mix. Shame on the adults. Very sad for the dead kid.

While I love dogs, always glad to have my concealed carry handy when a pit bull is near me or my kids.

What I have heard about these dogs is that if they do attack and latch onto someone, even the owners can’t get the to back off. That’s what scares me.

For the love of God don’t expose any small children around these animals! How many more of these stories do we have to see!?

Our black cocker spaniel was attacked again on our property last night (Wednesday) for the second time this week. He was attacked on Sunday. Both times he was ambushed.
The pit bull next door came right over as my wife and I walking to our front door after unloading her car. Our dog was on a leash during both attacks. The pit bull was not leashed or secure. We are in the process of getting a fence to have a secure area for our dog so there is not fixed structure fence between our properties. The neighbor had just installed an electric fence on his property.
Sunday when the first attack occurred, the neighbor had the electric fence turned off and the pit was not wearing the electric fence collar. Last night the pit bull had the collar on but it did not matter - he just came right over to our driveway and attacked out dog.
He had a vise grip on our dog’s hind leg. The owner ran over and was punching it in the head to get it to release our dog. Our dog had on a plastic “recovery” collar from the first attack and could not defend himself.
The pit bull is a like a live steel leg trap waiting to grab onto something or someone. We finally got the pit bull off our dog and loaded into the car to head to the veterinary hospital for the second time this week. On the ride over my wife called the police to report the dog.
Our dog's back leg was injured this time and the healing process from Sunday’s attack is wasted.
The neighbors are paying the veterinary bills. Sunday’s bill was 800 and yesterday’s was 200.
Long story short - when we got home the hospital the neighbors left us a note attached to our door informing us that they are returning the pit bull back from where he came.
I know it is not the breed/dog it is the irresponsible owner but pit bulls are too dangerous to be left in the care of irresponsible owners.

And that is why you only buy respectable dog breeds like Labs, Cannans, Shepherds.... but still keep them away from small children.

The SIMPLE TRUTH: You CANNOT TRUST the pit bull breed no more than you can trust a pedophile with children.

Why do we not have babies playing with cougars?

Or wild hogs?

Or elephants?

Why are there no horses in the living room with baby?

Yet, pit bulls. It occurs so often it is not coincidental. To the point common sense is now the first one hears about a dog mauling/death story the reasonable person first think “pit bull” and are overwhelmingly confirmed correct.
