White House announces President Donald Trump has fired FBI Director James Comey
The "investigations" of Trump were Comey's "insurance policy." Phony "investigations" that he announced to the press and to Congress in front of the cameras. He was "investigating" Trump and the Russians, and he would continue to "investigate" for years.
If fired, Comey knew (as is happening right now) that the media and the Democrats would scream bloody murder.
Comey didn't think President Trump would call his bluff.
He guessed wrong.

funny you bring that up, because last night on “Better Call Saul”, Jimmy McGill provoked his hateful, mentally ill brother, Chuck McGill, into a such a total, raving lunatic breakdown in front of a New Mexico state disbarment hearing that I remarked to Mrs. Catnipman that the only thing missing was two steel balls in Chuck’s hand and mention of strawberry ice cream.
I have no guesses either onyx. Just hoping there is more to come.

Would have loved to have seen Trump bring in every Obama appointee into the WH at once on Day 1 for a “meet and greet” briefing with media cameras rolling to let them all know to leave their credentials at the door. Also, to not bother going back to their office since it has already been cleared out and should expect their personal effects shipped to them via the super efficient and extra careful union employees of the USPS.
