Lost in all this discussion is the fact that something positive and productive FINALLY came from Congress. Had they not had Comey testify this week, he would still be FBI Director. Congress got him to provide the last straw and it was all Sessions could take.

So Kudos to the Congressional Republicans for setting the trap. You FINALLY did something productive.

There are going to be a lot of good FBI personnel getting hammered tonight in celebration of Comey being fired. Sure, many are in tears, but I think many more are out partying to celebrate it. Going to be lots of hangovers at FBI tomorrow morning, on both sides of the political spectrum.
