Police have set aside the barricades in Lee Square, and things are heating up.
The mayor of NOLA, a turd even among politicians, even among NOLA politicians for that matter, as well as some private university admin/faculty in the woodworks, have decided to astroturf the ‘demand’ to tear down all Confederate monuments in NOLA, as that will make NOLA wonderful. Antifa has been imported into this as well.
I believe they are tearing down the statue of R. E. Lee today. That is what this about. Sorry I’m not more precise, there are a lot of rumors and counter rumors.

Be it Northern or be it Southern, historic monuments need to be left alone...They are a part of our country’s history whether we like them or not...
