Calling all conspiracy theorists! The National Archives is set to release the last remaining top-secret files about John F. Kennedy’s 1963 assassination, in a process that could begin by this summer. The trove of some 3,600 files, mostly from the FBI and CIA, were part of the collection assembled and sealed by the Archives, on the condition that they all be made public by October 2017.
But there’s a catch: According to the same law, President Donald Trump has the ability to block the release of any or all of the documents—if he certifies that keeping them secret is a matter of national security.

Good post. My simple mind cannot wrap itself around a guy on an upper floor with a cheap mail order rifle being able to shoot with such rapidity and accuracy and being able to hit a moving target.
The Mafia killed JFK. The Godfathers of the plot were Carlos Marcello, Santos Trafficante and Sam Giancana. Dallas was part of Marcello’s territory. An attempt earlier that mouth was prevented in Tampa (Trafficante’s home) and also Chicago (Giancana).
Marcello was particularly angered by RFK who had him, basically, abducted from the courthose in New Orleans. He was taken to Guatemala, released into the jungle with no money or clothes. He almost died. At this point he swore to get vengeance.

From what I know the gun powder residue test came back negative for both pistols and rifles.
Yes, I believe the emotionally unstable Jack Ruby killed Oswald for exactly the reason he said he did it. His action taught the law enforcement world a critical lesson in securing the safety of heinous criminal suspects by restricting their transport within a secure area.
Up until the slaying of Oswald, most police departments in the country (outside of New York and Chicago) didn’t do anything special to restrict the public and news media from access to the transport of high profile criminal suspects. The public could just come walking up licking an ice cream cone craning their neck for a look-see at the latest criminal suspect as they were being taken from one place to another. Oswald’s killing changed those policies forever,

I believe that it would be expected that the Russian gov't would do anything and everything it could to hide any links with LHO. That they started a campaign the day after the assassination should be no surprise.
One of the links in the PJ media article you referenced had a tremendous amount of letters/documentation that showed Oswald was an agent for Russia. Is this stuff real?

This video link concerns a reporter named Connie Kritzberg. Her newspaper story was changed by people that her editor said were FBI and it was done just hours after the shooting.
How would the Russians have agents posing as FBI agents censor a news story in a Dallas newspaper the day of the assassination? If they really were FBI agents, there is NO reason a few hours after the assassination that they would be trying to pass the lone gunman lie.
As hard as I try, I cannot think of any way that the Russians could make the US gov't make an effort to hide the fact that there were multiple shooters in Dealey Plaza. Why do you think the Russians could pull that off?
Ruby, a long time Mafia Associate, hated JFK like the rest of the Mafia. He had been stalking LHO since his arrest and even corrected District Attorney Wade as to the correct name of LHO’s non-existent group. How would he even know this unless he was briefed on the man?

Ruby was distraught and strung out because, contrary to plans, Oswald was not immediately killed. So he had to do it or else. The Mafia did not say “would you please kill Oswald” or only suggest it.
The FBI was the only investigative agency working for the Warren Commission and decided immediately that only Oswald would be claimed as the killer.
All I can say is, Ion Mihai Pacepa has had experience giving out Disinformation back when he was a DIE/KGB agent, and was even personally involved with not just the JFK disinformation campaign, but even the whole campaign on Che Guevara being turned into a left-wing hero especially by having the likes of Sartre promote him as the “most complete human being of the century.” And considering the huge amount of Che promotion that’s being gobbled up by the masses in even the education areas, I’d say that the Soviets’ disinformation plan there worked to a certain extent. If they can turn one of the worst terrorists at the time into a communist hero practically overnight, they most certainly can pose as FBI agents and force her to not publish her story the day after the shooting. Heck, the KGB even pushed disinformation regarding Vietnam that John Kerry parroted. I have no reason to doubt Pacepa at all regarding this bit.
FBI also changed testimony from witnesses according to many of those who have discussed the Agency’s actions
