House GOP leaders are expressing confidence that the Republican-sponsored American Health Care Act (AHCA) to repeal and replace Obamacare will pass Thursday afternoon, though it will face an uncertain path in the Senate.
"This will pass," House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-California, told reporters as he left a closed-door meeting with the House Republican Conference. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana, also seemed confident that the bill would pass.

Must have just passed. People are clapping.
According to FNC .. voting on the health care bill is underway .
They are singing “na na na na na na hey hey goodbye” on the floor.
Passed!
Democrats yelling now, pointing fingers.
They passed the 216 threshold ... they’re at 217
Final tally 217-213 Obamacare goes down.
I have no clue. Wouldn’t waste my time watching their dog and pony shows.

These clowns have all the maturity of five year olds.
House passed the HC bill ... Republicans will board buses from the Capital to the WH Rose Garden ....
Okay, so it passed. Now it goes to the Senate where Obamacare Lite becomes Obamacare Even Less Lite. Big freakin’ deal.
there were 2 Democrat Yes votes at one point, but they came off the board after they got to 216.
I don’t think this was as close at it appeared.
“A “continuous coverage requirement” instead of an individual mandate”
Oh, that’s completely different. Instead of a mandate that I buy insurance, its a -requirement- that I always be covered.
And of course, premiums and deductibles will never go down a thin dime.
What an overwhelming victory!!

LOL. I thought at first they were angry Democrats. My audio was terrible and I could hardly hear it.
Obamacare tweak and rename is complete.
Regular new ABC Special Report is saying it passed by 217 voted.
A link to the votes? Anyone?
Yes I now believe it was the Rats signing thinking the republicans will lose the House as a result.
I think those 2 Dem votes was a trick trying to fool a RINO into thinking he could vote ‘no’.
now off to the senate for THEIR version of this.
(ie meaningless tax credits, meaningless preexisting conditions rules, politician praising victory through inaction, and slight of hand obamacare entrenchment.)
