Monday on CNNs New Day, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the vice chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, said that he foresees some conservatives coming out against a proposed government spending bill set to come out later this week.
I mean, look, money goes to Planned Parenthood as you said, Jordan said to host Chris Cuomo. Money continues to go to sanctuary cities but no money for the border wall. I think youre going to see a lot of conservatives be against this plan this week.

Trump has had no allies. He has us; he should enlist our help. We can do a lot more than attend rallies.

Why do you need Trump to tell you to do obvious things?

Trump looks beyond the immediate to the longer term goals There is NO proof of this... it sounds reassuring, but it's not.
This is a different ballgame ... he needs to step up to the plate, veto the bill and rally his troops by explaining why he's doing it.
He needs to stop trusting Ryan and Pence---and trust us.

THIS IS NOT THE TRUMP BUDGET!!! As soon as he signs it, he owns it.

Okay. Then every time Trump’s candidacy was declared dead, it really died. Hillary is POTUS, and hopefully Trump learned that playing the immediate gratification game beats playing long ball.

Sean Spicer just briefed that the President was very happy with what he got from the deal

Why do you need Trump to tell you to do obvious things? I hired a leader. I'd like him to toughen up and lead.

True there was a blood bath for the Dems in 10,14 and 16 but they are still in charge and running the congressional agenda to their tune and have been since 1996. The Republicans would be wiped out after an impeachment of Trump. The Republicans are losers even when they win. When the lose they excel, when they win their behavior makes them just contemptible!
An impeachment would result in one party rule for 20-30 yrs. until the Republican party died out and was replaced. At the end of that time what’s left of the country wouldn’t be worth a warm bucket of spit. The Republicans just want the crumbs from the Democrats table and are perfectly content to lick any liberal boot or kiss any liberal a$$ to get those crumbs, they are losers to the depths of their souls. Trump has to break out of this mold or they will drag him down to the status of the Bush’s. What did they do but managed decline.

But you can’t even pick the phone and call a senator’s office without a ‘tough,’ leader telling you to do it?

My question to you and everyone is, what do you do to them? Veto this CR and let the RINOs and Rats over ride the veto, which they will then the establishment pigs will own it and hopefully get primaryed and lose.

this BS budget WILL LOSE Trumps evangelical base they are DAMNED TIRED of waiting I think that is the plan to destroy the Trump presidency (and the GOP). Make him break so many of his promises that his voters become totally disillusion and stay home in 2018. Then the Rats take the House and Senate in 2018, Trump is then a lame duck for the next 2 years. He got to veto this CR or he is finished. This CR represents everything he ran against.

Fortunately it’s not 2018 yet. Trump still has a couple of months before the next election.

Excellent, flaglady47 and LS! Voices of calm and reason. Trump knows the game of patience.
- It takes a very long time for a skyscraper to get built in New York because of all the political and financial wrangling.
- It takes a long time to convince environmentalists in Scotland that redesigning a golf course is the right thing to do for the environment and local jobs.
- It will take a very long time to subdue the fat cats in Washington.

I won't matter if he signs this CR he hands the House and Senate to the Rats. He base of support will evaporate as he will be seen as either weak (caved on implemneting his agenda) or a liar that has broken just about all his campaign promises. He has already lost his biggest supporter Ann Coulter and he very close to losing Laura Ingraham.
No one thinks he can drain the swamp in 100 days but more and more it is looking like he not even trying but is instead feeding the alligators. The 2018 election is going to go very badly for republicans.

Not sure we really know what Ryan truly believes. He was elected by other GOP members to do a job of expressing
their agenda -- and yes, many of the views of the GOPe are despicable to freedom-lovers.
Ryan speaks the language of the majority of GOP members. When those GOP (and GOPe) opinions change -- or are forced to change -- then Ryan just might be the ticket for delivering the victory we really want.
Rush is talking about this very subject on the radio today.

It all depends on what happens between now and Nov 2018. If it’s just more of Ryan betraying the base, the GOP will lose big. If Trump’s Sept budget turns things around, and more and more promises are fulfilled between now and the next election, your prophecy will never see fulfillment.
