Rex Tillerson makes his first trip to the UN to chair a Security Council meeting on North Korea. The US chairs the Security Council for the month of April. Other nations sending foreign ministers to the meeting are Britain, China, Japan, and South Korea. U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will brief the council during the meeting.

I listened yesterday to the man casually speak about what the world really is like. He is truly an American treasure. The past is over. There is a new direction under his great leadership
I was listening to an interview he had with NPR this morning on my drive into work. The man is VERY well-spoken and thoughtful, yet still conveys Trump’s approach to foreign policy. An exceptional choice who is uniquely qualified because he is up on world events and knows the players, without the ties to Military, Dept. of State, CIA or the U.S. Congress.
I thought OUR chair this month was limited to Nikki....guess not.

From my very limited understanding, she’s the ambassador to the UN. Tillerson is at State, which represents us abroad. State is foreign policy, and since tension with the norks is reaching a level where the ceasefire might evaporate, it’s better for him to brief the useless idiots comprising the UN.

N.Korea has ignored the will of this council for decades...
UK believes vital to take further significant measures and demands of N.Korea.....
Uk put N.Korea right back on China’s shoulders...coupled with Un members holding to the sanctions now and those to come.
