House delays Obamacare vote, denying Trump 100-day win
Daily Mail ^ | 05:13 BST, 28 April 2017 | Ariel Zilber

Republican legislators in the House of Representatives have pushed back a vote to repeal Obamacare until next week, it was reported on Thursday. That means President Donald Trump's hopes for a major legislative 'win' before the expiration of his first 100 days in office appear to be on life support.

Trump was eager to resuscitate an earlier Republican bid to pass a health care bill that would have replaced the Affordable Care Act, the signature piece of legislation passed by his predecessor, Barack Obama.<

But House Speaker Paul Ryan and his senior GOP colleagues failed to muster the necessary number of votes to ensure the bill's passage.

I agree. I reflect back on many of Ryan’s statements about never supporting Trump, but also to the Podesta email that clearly referred to a communication with “PR” cancelling an event with Trump. A short time later, that very thing happened when Ryan disinvited Trump to speak at his rally in Wisconsin.

I think your use of the term “saboteur” is being kind. My father used to use the expression - albeit rarely, “I wouldn’t piss on that guy if he was on fire.” It happens to apply in this case.

Unfortunately, given a feckless, pusillanimous Congress with no present expectation of change you have had one, have one, and will have an executive that governs by fiat whether you like it or not.

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t he sign a bill into law allowing states to withhold funding from Planned Parenthood? And, didn’t his VP cats the deciding vote that passed the bill in the House?

Yawn.....just the UniParty doing it’s usual thing to enrich themselves at the expense of the “unwashed masses”.
Wake me up when real patriots decide to do something about it.

“...This is ridiculous. We gave them the House, the Senate and the WH so they could get rid of 0care and build the wall. So far they’ve refused to stand with Trump on either of those.....”

Yep. We are now seeing their true (UniParty/GOPe) colors.
All the fanfare about repealing OC before Trump was even nominated was just fake legislation to appease the “unwashed masses”. The time has come to kick where it hurts: Trump needs to form a new party. Give the existing conservatives in the GOP thirty days to leave the UniParty/GOPe and get behind him wholeheartedly. Then, those that don’t budge and/or the RINOs are selected for Alinsky-style extraction/elimination with their replacements endorsed by Trump’s new party. Other than a full outright rebellion with pitchforks & tar, I see no other way to bring these rotten basstruds under control.

If Republicans really wanted to decrease taxes, they’d decrease taxes. They’re in control of congress.

I don’t see that listed. They’ve passed nothing but BS stuff. I’m waiting for laws that mean something like stopping congressional pay raises, making congress subject to the same laws we are - you know, stuff like that with meaning and consequence.

Time to start looking for people to primary the RINO losers and hopefully defeat them. They clearly haven't gotten the message yet.

The "First 100 days" is just a phony construct anyway. Things happen on their own schedule.

The Democrats and Media (but I repeat myself) will turn their focus to any piece of minutiae if it presents them with an opportunity to tear down this President.

Fortunately, an increasing majority of the populace are perfectly aware that the Media has become a full blown Enemy of the People...

He did not allow the media in when he signed that bill. That might be why you don’t see it listed.
