He is a philosophy instructor (with a master’s degree) teaching at a community college. Calling him “professor” is a bit of a stretch.
I agree but it does seem to be the custom these days to call these community college teachers “professor.” At least that is the case in my neck of Florida.

There’s no evidence that I’ve seen that Eric Clanton has been arrested. Just rumors that Berkeley detectives are interviewing witnesses to the assault on Sean Stiles, the victim of the bike lock attack.
I’m not expecting swift justice anytime soon.
