Clinton Staffers Toyed With Using 'Because It's Her Turn' As Campaign Rallying Cry

Staffers on Hillary Clinton's losing campaign struggled to come up with a coherent explanation for why the former first lady and secretary of state wanted to become president.

Some top aides, in turn, floated the idea of using "because it's her turn" as a campaign rallying cry, Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes report in "Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton's Doomed Campaign," a new book revealing the Clinton campaign's inner workings. The book details the competing egos and reported infighting among Clinton campaign staffers.

The candidate herself could not articulate vision for why she wanted to be president in calls and internal meetings with her staff, the book says.

"It still might be Hillary’s turn. She’s going to run for president again in 2020."

Based on her recent photos, she does not look like a healthy woman for her age.

My impression is that the only thing that she might be a candidate for by 2020 is a liver transplant.

Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump are the same age. If Chelsea runs for any elective office, Ivanka could wipe her out.

Ivanka is doing serious work for President Trump - Chelsea has never accomplished anything substantial.

Wait a few years and this will be a priceless Political drama.

“”because it’s her turn” as a campaign rallying cry, “

That would have been fun.Its her turn to...
Completing the sentence would have made great commercials.

Serve her sentence, tell the truth, etc...

That is why Clinton voters supported her. Pathetic.

“The candidate herself could not articulate vision for why she wanted to be president in calls and internal meetings with her staff, the book says.”

That’s hard to do when the reason is to be the leader of a criminal cartel seeking raw power and money.

Ted Kennedy couldn't either. It was his turn, too, back in 1980.

I’m reading “Shattered” now. It’s a great read. The authors are no fan of President Trump (I still love saying that!)which makes it an even better book. I’m abut a quarter of the way through it and one the main thing I’m picking up so far is that she was completely out of touch with the electorate. Clueless.

Diminishes O’Bamugabe because it was “his turn” in 2008.

No body in this nation learns from history. They think they can change everything with power. But I have never forgot, nor forgave what the republican party did in forcing Bob Dole upon us. Hillary is the same mistake just from the leftist mindset... to think that anyone simply deserved to be president because of long public life is the mistake that first gave us Obama, and history as our guide, Mr. Trump!

Sorry, “quick-fingered” that reply.
Meant to add...

why is the most powerful position in the free world [POTUS] like lining up at the urinal in the ball-park?

The headline portion Because it's her turn is exactly what more than a few here were suggesting was more the truth of the matter
---in the minds of Hildbeast supporters (and the creature erself).

Somebody had to be Captain Obvious, on this thread...

This is news? That and “Vote for me... I’m a woman” are the only things I got from her campaign.

And I found neither reason compelling.

It would have been dumb to do that, but it did go with why MANY Dim’s were voting for her, just because she was a her.

They discounted how ethically bad Billary, Inc. was. And just like how they voted for Obama - BECAUSE he’s “black”, in 2016 MANY thought “at least we’d be electing a woman for the 1st time - and THAT’s more important”.

It’s why we call them Dims.
