Paulie Giganti, Hells Kitchen Contestant, Dies of Drug Overdose at 36
In that area of the country I wouldn’t surprised.
My younger brother drugged himself out of a career, multiple jobs, thru three failed marriages, bankruptcy, and a couple of drug induced auto accidents...
Meanwhile we bailed him out literally and financially several times, tried to get him into rehab and stay clean all to no avail until, still and always totally in denial, he finally OD-ed at 54...
He sucked us all dry emotionally and financially until in the end we were reluctantly forced to accept he did not want help...Often there is no lie they won’t tell, scheme they won’t pursue, or offer of help the addict will accept unless it enables the continued substance abuse...Our family’s story is by no means unusual...
People dont realize that in your area and west into Ohio is absolutely infiltrated with heroin. It is really bad and possibly a National Emergency.
Almost all the videos posted of ODed parents with children in the back seats are coming from the PA Ohio corridor.
Very sad. Waaay to young! Rest in peace, Erin!
“Odd how douchebag liberals like Howard and Winkler, with their millions, left her fall on hard times.”
And then what about Scott Baio?
He was the biggest star of them all and a close friend of President Trump and Erin Moran was so far gone and that even Baio could not help.
Thank about that, you have a friend a big and as powerful as Baio and you still succumb to hard times.
I don’t know who that person was; never heard of him, nor that show.
True.
How did she end up in Corodyn Indiana?
Erin was born in Burbank, CA....
Well said.
Corydon, Indiana, is a sleepy little town and the state’s first capital. If you wanted to move to a quaint idyll to get away from it all, I’d sure consider it.
Southern Indiana has a well-documented drug problems heroin, meth, cocaine and the problems that go with it
Stories Here here HIV and drugs here etc...
Erin is lucky. This leftist world is shit. I am happy for her.
I am sorry for your loss.
They say celebrities go in threes. Earlier today, Cuba Gooding, Sr. was found dead and now Erin Moran. Wonder who the third will be?
Successful children author is still at a level where most still need a job on the to supplement one’s income.
It is my theory that these drugs destroy the mind’s problem solving and decision making functions. With that ability gone, they cannot chose to do the right thing that will protect them from further damage. This inability also does great damage to other since they cannot choose to do the right thing. It is very much the same effect as rabies to the mind of a dog.
Actors tend to describe working on a long-running show with people as more like a family, or at least people they went to school with for years. A co-worker for most of us is someone who works down the hall and you might not see every day. And you may not spend many years working with the same person. Working in a cast of a show is a much closer relationship and also a smaller group.
That doesn't mean every one in every cast always likes each other or gets along. But the better man realizes that when you are in a small team that works together on something and is successful for years and years, you owe some loyalty, gratitude and respect to the other people on your team.
Yes, which is why one of the ultimate sins and evils in society should even be trying or taking drugs for the first time. “Just say no” was the right message. I was a child in the ‘80s and it worked for me. I’ve never tried drugs or alcohol. This increasingly liberal, tolerant attitude towards marijuana, binge drinking and other drug use is setting us up for many more tragedies and burdens.
Well said. And reports from years past say both Winkler and Baio tried to help her.I imagine they all tried. It’s hard for family and friends to help those with addictions and mental illness.
I enjoyed her character on Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi.
