Kim Jong-un has threatened the US with a 'super-mighty preemptive strike' and warned America: 'Don't mess with us'.
State controlled media claimed North Korea could 'immediately wipe out the US mainland' and reduce its enemies 'to ashes'.
The latest threat from Pyongyang comes amid mounting tensions between North Korea and America and after China moved 150,000 troops to its border with the secretive state.
This morning it emerged that Vladimir Putin is also reinforcing his border with North Korea by relocating troops and equipment.

It is technically possible that North Korea could strike the United States mainland or more likely Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and/or the Northern Marianas. However, any nuclear or other WMD strike within U.S. territory would completely change the circumstances.
Neither the Chinese nor the Russians would offer anything other than pro-forma protests about a U.S. response that would be overwhelmingly violent. South Korea would be very tempted to enact any plan they had to attack north (I don’t know if they have one, but I’d bet good money one exists). If only to save as many North Koreans as possible from our inevitable retaliation.

This fat kid might just be stupid enough to try it. He really is capable of anything. This is a terrible situation that has no good options. This administration is committed to do the heavy lifting.

NK is about the size of Pennsylvania. Someone should give Kim a world map. What's his strategy for war? Subs?? Land based missiles?
It's not like Russia or Japan or South Korea won't attack him.
Does he think everyone will surrender if attacked?
My guess is his own people will take him out. Bet he doesn't even give bullets to his "armed" guards.

Almost surely some of us will sacrifice to get rid of that mad regime. But it’s a Christian thing to laugh at death. Anybody who wanted to move out of Seoul has had the chance. It will take heart and Seoul (pun intended) to address this problem.

You can’t say that you won a war without putting troops in the conquered area. I don’t think that he could occupy us
for the same reason that the Japanese could not in WW2.
