If you want to know where the Democratic Party is headed, think about this:
I’ve been writing about Hillary Clinton for almost 20 years—ever since the Monica Lewinsky scandal—and it will hardly come as a surprise to those of you who have read my books that my critical opinion of Hillary has made me a pariah among liberals—especially among the liberal mainstream media.
Before I started writing about Hillary, I wrote several books about the Kennedys, and in those days I was a welcome guest on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Charlie Rose, Larry King—practically everywhere on TV.
However, once I started portraying Hillary for what she is—an angry, self-righteous politician, who blames everybody but herself for her problems—I was no longer invited to sit with my old friends in front of a TV camera and discuss the news.
Well, folks, that may be about to change.
Two card-carrying members of the liberal mainstream media—Amie Parness and Jonathan Allen—who wrote a gushy book about Hillary a couple of years ago, have apparently seen the light.
They are coming out with a book today that tells it like it is. The book is called Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign, and it portrays Hillary as—you guessed it!—an angry, self-righteous politician who blames everybody but herself for her problems.
And why do I think this is important?
For the simple reason that the same Amie Parness—on the day before publication of her new book—wrote a piece for The Hill, a political newspaper, in which she described Bernie Sanders—not Hillary Clinton— as the key to rebuilding the Democratic Party as it struggles to find its identity after the devastating defeat in 2016.
Mark this date: The liberal mainstream media is leaving Hillary and moving further and further to the left—away from Saint Hillary and into the arms of the socialist Bernie Sanders.
She would pick someone to the LEFT of Hillary to lead the Democrat Party?
If that is the identity of the Democrat Party it would be better if it stayed lost.
In the end, they couldn’t hide the fact that many Dems voted for Trump instead of her - delivering Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan to Republicans for the first time in decades. Trying to mask it with accusations of sexism or racism wouldn’t cut it; too many non-whites and women rejected Hillary.
I don’t think she should have had an easy race; on the contrary, I believe Obama’s presidency helped sink her as the economy continued to falter and Americans watched their way of life crumble around them. If you watch the movie “Trumped”, her most steadfast supporters seem to clearly know in the final hours of the campaign that she might not win.
Is this the same person who wrote Primary Colors?
The author was so afraid of the clinton machine that he penned it as ‘Anonymous’ and after it was revealed who he was, the major media all treated him like he farted loudly in church.
Oh wait... that was Joe Klein
They cheered Bernie, but resoundingly booed Perez.
The Dems don't even care about being a little bit close to mainstream anymore. They are OUT and PROUD of it.
Communists on the rise, communists in disguise.
If that is the identity of the Democrat Party it would be better if it stayed lost.

They've been setting the stage for Socialism for decades - every entitlement penny has been used to pave the road for not just acceptance of, but demand for a all-powerful government to "take care of them".

It's also an interesting turn of events, seeing how far the Clintons have fallen. It was Hillary that pulled the two down; Bill was always "Slick Willy" and could have kept the personal scam going ad infinitum if not for her tone deaf political ear and crass ambitions.
And the Clintons are fighting back...
Who will win?
Fifty years from today, its bones will be unearthed, brushed off, and studied to learn why a once-powerful coalition of utopian dreamers and gimme dats became extinct.
