Vice President Mike Pences scheduled commencement speech at Notre Dame has prompted a protest campaign by seniors who feel unsafe.

For me personally, [Mr. Pence] represents the larger Trump administration, Ms. Mondane told schools newspaper, The Observer, on Monday. His administration represents something, and for many people on our campus, it makes them feel unsafe to have someone who openly is offensive but also demeaning of their humanity and of their life and of their identity.

Oh for gawd’s sakes . .
GROW UP you immature little b*******
This snowflake will melt at his very first job interview. Not ready for prime time. He speaks infant.
That doesn’t sound like Notre Dame at all.
I stopped reading there.
I saw Reagan speak here in 1981 and again in 1987. He received an overwhelmingly positive reception both times. The ‘87 event was amazing (he was there for the release of the Knute Rockne commemorative postage stamp). That place has gone decidedly downhill since I left there in ‘88.

Awww, do the Liddle Snowflakes feel unsafe. Maybe they should leave college as it’s not safe their either. And since no job is safe they should just go home and suck on mommies dry tit for all the good it will do them.
Sounds like this student needs therapy.
NOTE: The Left has changed personal feelings into a political position we are supposed to respect. “I don’t feel safe because there are people in the world who disagree with me.”
Safe spaces are the exact opposite of what colleges should be. Students should be challenged about their worldview (certainly the Christian students are challenged constantly) and that way they can debate, learn, and grow.
Instead, mentally unstable youngsters are being coddled and treated like mental patients who may snap at any moment.
Pence is such a skerry man? He looks like Santa without the beard!. But maybe she should just stay home and stop trying to ruin everyone else’s day
That is pathetic. Grow up you people at Notre Dame.
It’s time for a complete re-organization of our nation’s higher learning campuses.
K-12th grade needs a revamp too.
Several years ago I suggested it was time to consider shutting down the whole education system for a year or so, get things back on track, and start over.
Things have gone way down hill after I first started saying it.
Safe places, White’s being reeducated, White’s racist by birth, White privilege, nobody but Whites can be racist...
The Leftist U/N stuff being crammed down our kids throats is unconscionable.
Get the unions out of our schools. Get the U/N study plans out. Get the homosexual LBGT nonsense out. Get any hint of Islam out.
Get nationalism back in, and explain why Islam is a dire threat to humanity.
Focus on core learning skills that are must haves, reading, math, English, science, and core university degrees that we need to be a 21st Century nation.
This ‘enemy within’ stuff has got to go.
I know there are some good teachers and university professors, but I’d keep them on a very short leash, and any Leftist activity in the classroom would be grounds for a person never having an authoritative role over children and college age people again.
Those who support Mike Pence have the right to assemble peaceably.
His administration represents something, and for many people on our campus, it makes them feel unsafe to have someone who openly is offensive but also demeaning of their humanity and of their life and of their identity.
I wish someone would call these liberal idiots out on the pablum they spew out.
1. How does Pence make them feel unsafe?
2. How is he offensive?
3. How is he demeaning of their lives?
4. How is he demeaning of their humanity?
5. How is he demeaning of their identity?
I wish they would be specific about how the Vice President is so offensive to them, and how he causes such angst.
while the very existence of Mike Pence is incomprehensible and offensive to liberal student idiots,I can see numerous life lessons they can learn from this situation.
One is that the entire world is not a liberal bubble. Another is that elections will occur in which your preferred candidate doesn’t always win. Another is that the duly elected Vice-President of the U.S., whom you didn’t support, is there as a result of free and fair elections, and that “your side” doesn’t always win elections.
And a big life lesson would be “tolerance”, which liberals talk about a lot. They will show some great tolerance by being respectful of this man whom they didn’t want to see elected to high office..........
Quiz question - how many were killed by US chemical weapons in World War II. (Military personnel only; civilian collateral damage casualties unknown.)
it makes them feel unsafe to have someone who openly is offensive but also demeaning of their humanity and of their life and of their identity.....
Did you mean to say IMMATURE STUPID ####ING CHILDISH LITTLE BITCH?
this tramp is openly offensive. Pun intended.
I would have thought thy already had safe spaces there. I guess if it gets above 30 degF there the poor snowflakes start to melt.
