Nikki Haley: “Regime Change Is Something That We Think Is Going To Happen” In Syria

The drums of war are continuing to beat with UN Ambassador Nikki Haley coming out and basically saying the Trump administration is against Syrian president Assad staying in power.

Haley said, “regime change is something that we think is going to happen.”

“There’s not any sort of option where a political solution is going to happen with Assad at the head of the regime,” Haley said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” set to air Sunday.

“If you look at his actions, if you look at the situation, it’s going to be hard to see a government that’s peaceful and stable with Assad,” she added.

“There’s multiple priorities. Getting Assad out is not the only priority,” Haley said of the U.S. strategy.

“What we’re trying to do is, obviously, defeat ISIS,” she continued.

“Secondly, we don’t see a peaceful Syria with Assad in there. Thirdly, get the Iranian influence out. And then finally, move toward a political solution, because at the end of this is a complicated situation.”

Haley’s comments are dangerously close to projecting that America will force regime change in Syria.

Time for Nikki to hold her tongue

Time for Nikki to figure out who her boss is, or go elsewhere. I've thought of her as a fake conservative, after she kept the ball rolling on erasing Confederate history. It seemed that perhaps getting her out of the governorship was a real good idea.

Now we find out that she's an across-the-board total hypocrite fake conservative globalist sold out McCainiac backstabber. I wish Trump would put someone such as Rick Santorum in at the UN. He's someone who has not done one traitorous thing to undermine the President or USA first policies.

Have we not heard this Muslim Brotherhood to the rescue theme song before?

You might need a strongman like Assad to rule there. When people die en masse and refugees happen the stability is gone and he must go on public trial like Saddam. Something tells me Hillary’s State Department has something to do with it.

Where is Saddam when you need him? He was a Stalin like figure not tied to Sunni or Shitte. Mideast was a better place with good old fashion dictators.

That was the old world order. Not the transnational new world order that this carpetbagger Nimrata Randhawais is bleating about.

“Regime Change Is Something That We Think Is Going To Happen” In Syria

Be careful what you wish for! This could open a pandora’s box with ISIS in the driver’s seat.

They had sent their kids to school in London, so they absorbed western culture.

That’s the kind of guy you want running the place.

Not sure people educated in snowflake factories will be able to hold power in the ME.

Good point. I went to grad school in a different era. We’ll definitely need someone on the mature side.

Not twisted at all. If he is being supported by the Western powers and Russia only until ISIS is defeated, what incentive does he have?

Personally, I think he’s got to go - get in a good secular ruler or ruling council and defuse the whole thing.

Assad is a good secular ruler. Stable and pro-christian, moderate.

You’d rather have the moderate Jihadists ?

why do you even care
