US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said in an interview airing Sunday on CNN that until Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is out of power, she doesn't see a political solution to the conflict in Syria.
"There's not any sort of option where a political solution is going to happen with Assad at the head of the regime," Haley told "State of the Union" anchor Jake Tapper. "It just -- if you look at his actions, if you look at the situation, it's going to be hard to see a government that's peaceful and stable with Assad."

Regime Change and Nation Building, here we go again.
To: McGruff
I don’t see one with him gone, either!
The solution is one side or the other wins and we stay the hell out of it.
Are we to enter South Sudan next where the Mohamed followers are butchering people wholesale as well? Or are we only concerned about Arab babies?

Hey Nikki, just tell the muslims to settle their 1200 year old shia/sunni girlie fight thing and we’ll get Syria squared away in no time as soon as they do.

Tillerson said one of the issues with the CW is they can end up here i.e. it will be American babies being gassed to death.
So maybe if Assad wants to save himself he ought to get busy and get rid of the CW like he previously promised.

Mike Cernovich (who broke Susan Rice and the Syria strikes) has said that sources are telling him there will be boots on the ground in Syria.
Now if we are going to take out ISIS, that’s one thing, but inserting ourselves into a civil war to overthrow Assad could have dangerous consequences.

++++
Syria:
1. Supports Iran and expands Iranian influence in the Middle East.
2. Anti-Israel and supports the transport of weapons to Israel’s enemies.
3. Allied with Russia and increases Russian influence in the region.
On the plus side and somewhat persuasive for me: The Turks hate Assad.

Well, is there a political solution that the US can back with Assad in power (backed by Iran with all her billions of dollars supplied by Obama)? No. That doesn't mean we have to nation build. It is just a fact there is no political solution for Syria as things stand. Why do you think 5 million Syrians left?
One family now lives just blocks from me. Thanks Obama!

Haley’s putting some pretty strong words out in public. Is she in close communication with Tillerson and speaking for him, or is she wild-carding it? Anyone know?
