Mark Levin: 'You should be very proud of your president, a real commander-in-chief'
Washington Examiner ^

Posted on 04/07/2017 5:07:52 PM PDT by springwater13

Leading conservative talker Mark Levin has strongly endorsed President Trump's strike on Syria, urging in his Friday night Levin TV show, "You should be very proud of your president, that's a leader."

Levin, never one to rip Trump, said, "By God, when he does the right thing and he does it in such a wonderful way, as a true leader, then he needs to have our support. We need to have his back."

Throughout the day, some of Trump's supporters have criticized the president for the strike, which they believe violates his campaign promises to keep America from deeper involvement in world crises.

But Trump, who initially leaned against action, said the Syrian government's poisoning of children changed his mind and Levin endorsed that change, a powerful message of support that should carry weight in the conservative wing of the GOP.

Levin also dismissed calls for Trump to get the OK first from Congress, saying, "Under the War Powers Act, it's perfectly legal."

It wasn’t magically I listened to that show live and he SINGLE HANDEDLY put all the pieces together and started what many jumped into the band wagon over. Use critical thinking and don’t be a clapping seal basing judgement on what is posted here. Yes it totally sucks when someone holds another to account based on conservative principles and it is awesome when you hear them praise them when they are right. Mark does both. He isn’t an mindless Obamatron supporter that we had the last 8 years. He actually holds them accountable to their words.

A one time a common occurrence now a rarity

No doubt, don’t like to see that, but I’m pretty sure our\Trump’s motivation had nothing to do with helping who’s on the other side fighting Assad...I think it was isolated to simply Assad’s decision to use chemical weapons...the groups opposing Assad are still directly in our cross-hairs I believe...until I sense\see something different from the WH, I think Trump will be an equal-opportunity projector of power where it’s needed...it’s his nature...think back to what he has said about democrats and repubs alike(the political class)...doesn’t care who it is or what side they’re supposedly on...he rips them all when he disagrees with their policy or position...granted that calling an airstrike is a much bigger decision than going after any\all politicians, but it fits into his pattern\view of the world...

Just my .02 on the targeted airstrike...

Any insight into what we’re reading on the WH staff shakeup?

Great post, Tiger.

I’ve also never had a clear definition for the term, ‘neocon’, so have never used it. As far as I could tell, it was a slander invented by the left, who likewise, can’t define it.

Conservatives repeating the term, are instantly suspect, in my view.

Are you atruther too?

Excuse me. I was one of the first FReepers to fully get behind Trump, the moment he slid down the Escalator in June 2016.

Just because I did so doesn't mean I need to keep my guard down and everything is hunky-dory. Now you got Kushner and Ivanka basically calling the shots in Washington.

STAY OUT OF THE MIDDLE EAST. FOCUS ON AMERICA. THE BORDER. THE TAXES. THE JUSTICES. MAGA. REMEMBER THAT?

And that was LONG LONG before he was privy to top secret information that could change one’s mind. So let’s say he saw something that he felt was in the best interests of America and took action? This isn’t a static position. The dynamics change constantly.

It wasn’t magically

Pure horse vomit mixed with feces. Levin's radio show was in the toilet so he suddenly decides to support Trump and outline the wiretapping case against him.

He did it to save his own ass, not to support the President.

Out of curiosity, would anyone here be cheering this same action if Obama did it on the way out?

I voted for him because he said he wouldn’t get involved in the Middle East and their constant wars.

Bingo. I hope he has the sense to steer clear of a George W. Trump administration.

You must be a big supporter of Obama’s Red Line feckless foreign policy that left us with ISIS, the Syrian Refugee problem, etc.

So what?

Their opinions mean nothing to me. Trump made the decision, gave his reasons for and it’s my trust in him and agreement with his reasoning that makes me support it.

It’s not hard to figure out why libtard pols support it and it’s obviously not for the same reasons as mine.

Okay, but did they drop chemical weapons or bombs to destroy chemical weapons? That’s the question for me. We all know these head chopping barbarians store weapons in places like this and surround them with civilians for just this purpose.

Probably very few here on FR. Probably plenty of big-government globalists in the GOP and its media sycophants, though.

He didn’t need to save his own ass that’s a complete assumption based on no basis of fact. His ratings are still in the million+ range, his contract is gold for 10 years (he is going nowhere). It is 100% apparent you don’t listen to the show to make the statements you do.

I invite you to actually listen to his show you may learn something.

Warning he may say things you don’t like if you are Hollywood personality cultish starry eyed celebuworshipper. However he will also praise him as he has for quite sometime.

And oh by the way the primaries have been over for quite sometime.
