Then why is Trump fighting ISIS’ fight for it?
Taking out Assad would be a tremendous mistake, just as taking out Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi created the power vacuum that allowed ISIS to come into power in the first place.
On the campaign trail, Trump repeatedly rightfully attacked those disastrous actions by his predecessors and rightly described them leading to ISIS.
Taking out Bashar Al-Assad simply gives ISIS another entire failed state to add to their caliphate.
Trump repeatedly on the campaign trail that he would eschew nation building and regime change. It’s one of the reasons I voted for him.
I know all that, I was responding to this statement: Every other chemical attack there has been by the US-Europe-Israel-backed rebels. I’m sure when the smoke clears we’ll find out that it was indeed the rebels again. So thanks but you really did not answer my question. 8>)
