I’m sure she had great grades, but her race 100 percent had all those Ivy League schools falling all over themselves to get her in their school. Let’s be real.
Love to see where she is in 10 years.. probably working for some big government institution.
However she got in, she got in. She didn’t create the system. I do not blame her for taking full advantage of it. And besides, who knows? Maybe she’s just that smart. Such folks do exist.
“I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh,”
Yeah, real Ivy League material there....
Hope that she has a scholarship or comes from rich family.
Im praying they give me some more financial aid or some money, she said. Shout out to all of those schools, please give me something!
her.
“’I was shaking, I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, like this might be eight out of eight,’ she said.”
Oh, my God. She can’t correctly conjugate the verb “to be,” which one learns in grade school. She was accepted because of her skin color, because her mastery of basic English is non-existent.
she wants to study in the field of “global health professional”
um what is that?
A kid I know applied to all these great schools plus the Little Ivies. His best friend applied to all of them too, but out of kindness left one Little Ivy off the list—the one that was his friend’s first choice.
The colleges did not want two kids from the same class at the same high school, so things went exactly as planned.
I think the first kid was a kind of late bloomer, because he graduated summa from the Little Ivy and went on to excel like an SOB in an Ivy graduate school.
His comment from graduate school: All the real geniuses here were homeschooled.
After seeing her photo, I could have predicted it. Sad situation in colleges, that they choose people based on race. Blond blue-eyed boys need not apply.
How does she choose where to be indoctrinated for $50K + per year?

I can tell by the name that she’s at least in part of Ibo heritage, the same as my wife’s family. In Nigeria they were the group that allied with the British in the colonial era, accepting Christianity and enthusiastically pursuing British education and commerce. Upon independence, they were brutally treated, many killed, and when that resulted in a civil war for independence, they were crushed, creating a huge diaspora. That diaspora places a great emphasis on education, business and success, and many of their kids turn out just like this apparently talented and accomplished young woman. That their skin color is as dark as any black American disproves the false theory that racism prevents blacks from achieving here.
I have not seen a picture of this student.
Given the state of prejudice and racism in the country, by guess is that she is black, as this would never happen to a white or asian student.
Now I will check. Hope I am wrong.
I have a Nephew who is the smartest person I have ever known personally. One of my best friends is president of Mensa for a large metropolitan area, yet I am sure he is not even close to my Nephew.
He applied to Harvard and was rejected. He went on to get scholarships at other Universities and has done exceedingly well after college.
I would bet by long odds that he is not only smarter than her but way, way smarter.
BTW my Dr. is a Harvard grad. He is sharp but otherwise seems pretty much ordinary.
So many check-marks in so many affirmative-action quotas!
I wish this young lady all the success in the world, I’m sure she must be smart and resourceful.
Having said that, I have the same reaction whenever I see a “this kid got into all eight Ivy League Schools!” headline that I have whenever there’s a ‘Massive brawl at Denny’s” type headline. I don’t even have to look...
What’s a global health professional?
I hope her folks can afford it and she doesn’t end up with a serious Debt
(Been There and Doing it)
Any bets as to the chances of acceptance this girl would have at these schools?
