NJ teen gets accepted to all 8 Ivy League schools and Stanford

New Jersey high school senior Ifeoma White-Thorpe said she couldn't believe it when she heard back from all eight Ivy League schools and Stanford University -- and they all accepted her for the fall.

“I was shaking, I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, like this might be eight out of eight,” she said when she got her last Ivy League acceptance notice online.

Harvard, Yale, Columbia, UPenn, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Princeton, and Stanford all want to see on their campuses in the fall.

White-Thorpe, a hopeful future global health professional, told WABC that “so many of them have great research facilities, so I was like, I might as well just shoot my shot and apply.” She believes her love of poetry and writing helped her stand out.

I hope this girl is genuinely smart enough to have gotten admitted had everything else about her other than skin colour been the same. And I hope she studies something useful so she can become a useful addition to society, instead of another radical academic like Cornel West, etc.

I’m sure she had great grades, but her race 100 percent had all those Ivy League schools falling all over themselves to get her in their school. Let’s be real.
Love to see where she is in 10 years.. probably working for some big government institution.

However she got in, she got in. She didn’t create the system. I do not blame her for taking full advantage of it. And besides, who knows? Maybe she’s just that smart. Such folks do exist.

“I’m praying they give me some more financial aid or some money,” she said. “Shout out to all of those schools, please give me something!”

“’I was shaking, I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, like this might be eight out of eight,’ she said.”

Oh, my God. She can’t correctly conjugate the verb “to be,” which one learns in grade school. She was accepted because of her skin color, because her mastery of basic English is non-existent.

Lol. Wait until she sees the bill! How much is a year at an Ivy League school these days — 100 grand?

A kid I know applied to all these great schools plus the Little Ivies. His best friend applied to all of them too, but out of kindness left one Little Ivy off the list—the one that was his friend’s first choice.

The colleges did not want two kids from the same class at the same high school, so things went exactly as planned.

I think the first kid was a kind of late bloomer, because he graduated summa from the Little Ivy and went on to excel like an SOB in an Ivy graduate school.

His comment from graduate school: All the real geniuses here were homeschooled.

After seeing her photo, I could have predicted it. Sad situation in colleges, that they choose people based on race. Blond blue-eyed boys need not apply.

A health professional who is global. LOL. :)

Maybe a nurse or a doctor who travels to third world countries treating people.

that’s why we gotta hope for the future of this nation she avoids academia, entertainment, or politics, and like Ben Carson, goes into medicine, business, something where she makes use of her talents for something other than agitating our great nation.

Nah, she just has Ebonics as an alternative language. To criticize her for it would be culturally inappropriate.

However this also means rednecks get to speak git-r-dun.
