Men have become more aggressive in negotiating with women since the 2016 election, according to study from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Corinne Low, Wharton Business Economics and Public Policy professor, and doctoral student Jennie Huang didn't intend to test the effect Donald Trump's election had on the difference in men's and women's negotiating patterns when they conducted the test last fall. But that is what the data showed, the Washington Post reported.
"Not only was the communication more aggressive, it was also less effective," Low told the Post.
In a Battle of the Sexes game, 232 mostly University of Pennsylvania students were paired up, given $20 and asked to divide the money in a $15 to $5 split. If they couldn't work it out, neither would get a share, The Daily Pennsylvanian reported.
In sessions before the election, men were generally more chivalrous and less likely to use tougher strategies against their female partners. After the election, results suggested the "Trump election may have fractured community norms of civility and chiralry," the authors wrote.
"Our results are consistent with literature showing that broader political or world events can impact behavior such as generosity, fairness and reciprocity, cooperation, group bias and health insurance uptake," the authors wrote in the study paper.

So in other words, once-cucked men are now finding their balls and not putting up with women’s s—t anymore? GOOD!!
And without a doubt this altered result is a DIRECT result of the election of Donald Trump. It couldn’t possibly be due to the 1000 other changes in these participants’ environments.
And the Superbowl wife beatings will just escalate to out-and-out murders. Just wait.
Not winning anymore?
Trump hating 24/7
Chivalry was a “community norm” before Trump was elected? No way, that would be chauvinistic! I can’t believe this twit escaped the part of indoctrination class which teaches that chivalry is chauvinism. So they should be giving President Trump credit for doing away with that antiquated notion of inequality.
Combine the election with Super Bowl Sunday!

Now I get it! I thought I was doing something wrong as I was averaging about six black eyes a year for the past eight years, now I am already at five with eight months to go.
And to think Wharton was once one of the best business schools in the world.
But I thought this election - according to Hillary - was the battle for equal rights for women. Well, according to this study, women are being treated the same as men- no special treatment. Seems Hillary “won” in that sense, so what are they complaining about?
Are you sure? A wife that is simply beaten and not killed is available each year for the husband to beat. But if he kills her she is no longer available at the next Superbowl. What would Donald Trump say? He would say, "Don't waste your resources! Beat her only enough so that she gets the message and then goes and gets you another beer!"
Ding, ding, ding - we have a thread winnah!
It’s “ok” since the Trump election to be a REAL man again & to act like one. There is an example of a REAL man in the WH, not a “mom jeans” twinkle toes. With the current pink pussy-vagina hat wearing crowd of females/womyn, who would rather interract with a turkey baster than a male of the species, any time a man acts in any way like a “man”, it is threatening to the so IMO, studies like this are going to be mostly BS.
So in other words, once-cucked men are now finding their balls and not putting up with womens st anymore? GOOD!!
I don’t know if this is related to Trump, or, possibly, Obama being out of office, but...I have noticed that the very same blacks who were either rude, standoffish or outright ignoring me have become much more pleasant to deal with. I am thinking about my interactions with black checkout clerks and the many, many blacks at my local Gold’s.
Before the Obama years I often spoke with black men and women in the gym; no issues, no weird feelings about how they were reacting. Then the Obama years and many turned outright rude. (The black Gold’s employees seemed almost desperate to counteract the atmosphere.) Now, my interactions with the very same blacks have returned to cordial and pleasant. Either the Obama constant negativity is no longer agitating them or Trump is an awesome uniter. Or, possibly, it’s something in the water.
Nice to see that Wharton is so willing to throw an alum under the bus.
