Nearly 40 years after he created the multi-color symbol of the LGBT movement, Gilbert Baker died Friday at the age of 65.
Details about his death are unknown at this time, but friends say Baker died in his sleep.
News of the man known as the father of the rainbow flag spread on social media.

According to his website, the first flag - which was inspired by Baker's friend Harvey Milk - debuted on June 25, 1978 during the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade.
He broke world records, first in 1994 for creating a mile-long rainbow flag for the 25th anniversary of the Stonewall Riot, and again in 2003 for creating a flag that stretched from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean in Key West for the 25th anniversary of the flag.

Maybe it does make sense. It shows that the devil can mess up all kinds of people in all kinds of ways too. Which is true enough while this world exists.

Actually you’d be surprised at the potpourri of perversion they’ve pulled together, and much of it ISN’T buggery (or sodomy in any sense of the word). Sodom itself was pretty boring, as devils’ amusements went. One kind of perversion. Now we are in version 10.0 or something of all this.
Well, you know ... all facts of life for any man, and of course two of these for any man or woman, or mammal, for that matter. I have often thought that poop represents the contingencies of thermodynamics, in the form of waste as a necessity. I guess thermodynamics doesn’t need a flag.

The only reason the rainbow colors got hijacked is because CHRISTIANS allowed it to get hijacked. GOD’S covenant sign is forever. The rainbow’s message is forever.

Christians and Christian organizations have tended to be pretty genteel. I noticed this when I put in an application for an IT position at the Gideons International headquarters. Now actually read Gideon’s story, and what went on was pretty rough. But these folks have a logo of a genteel jar with a genteel torch with a genteel little flame on the top, all nice and symmetrical. God has to hoot at this. My life would be like a busted jar with the torch hanging out at a crazy angle and shedding all kinds of crazy light. And where’s the equivalent of where Gideon whipped the people who wouldn’t help him, with thorns and thistles yet? Well there are some canons of consideration we apply as Christians that are a designed evolution over the Old Testament, but still. When will Christians believe like they mean it?
Taking a sign from God and turning it into a symbol for evil...

It will take a move of the SPIRIT to place a hunger in CHRISTIANS for the WORD OF GOD. How many know the true account of the rainbow? How many know the transformation of GIDEON from coward to a mighty warrior?
Faith comes by hearing the WORD OF GOD. Pray for a SECOND REFORMATION in AMERICA!
