-- Ready to surrender to after 60 days? Wow. What a patriot. This is attitude is exactly why conservatives never get anything from the GOP. --

You should consider it a negotiating tactic. The poster is willing to walk away from the table to get a better deal.

If his supporters walk away en mass, he's a political loser, period. Sure, he'll get rich just like Obama, Bush and the rest of the elites. That's a given no matter what.

This is Trump. Drop the pretense that he is negotiating or that he is listening to bad advice, playing 3 D chess, etc.. This forum black balled Never Trumpers, harassed anyone who questioned his commitment to a conservative agenda, and berated anyone who said he would not do many of the things he said.

Now what? Is this forum going to repudiate Trump and his supporters who are not Freedom Caucus approved?

He is as good as we will ever have. The repeal may not have been what we wanted but it was a useful step and a win would have helped him with the rest of the agenda. Trump will go where he is wanted and he will stay where he is loved. Even if it’s with the Dems.

Washing my hands of Trump until he gets his head out of his ass. This is grade A stupidity.

They don’t call it the surrender party for nothing.

But here’s the question — what’s the disagreement between Trump and the Freedom Caucus?

Can’t he give a little ground? They aren’t talking about cold turkey ‘cut off’ with people dying in the streets. For the most part they are insisting that Trump keep his freaking promises.

-- DJT is wrong to lay this at the feet of the HFC. --

I didn't follow the moves closely, but at this point, I agree with you. The moderates and the DEMs are the ones who killed this bill, not the so-called "loony" conservatives.

save your breath, we’re going to refight Trump vs Cruz for the next four years.

Winner. Winner. Chicken dinner. The never Trumpers are laughing all the way to the bank. Duping good conservative folks again with their gaslighting rhetoric.

I am a big Trump supporter but I am totally angered that he disavows conservative Republicans for refusing to support his crap bill. Does that mean he has more crap bills coming and is greasing the wheels? He is going more RINO by the day; bringing on Ivanka to RINO things up more with universal daycare. Rinse said to Chris Wallace they would need to look to the Demorats to support their bills. So much for doing what the people want. I guess the good thing is he is honest about it. Unlike Ryan who said RINOCare was the bill conservatives asked for.

Your evidence Trump has disavowed conservative Republicans is?

Also, Trump did not put out a “crap bill”. Lyin’ Ryan did.

So many turning on Trump so fast & it’s only 68 days into his administration. Tis’ a pity.

It seems Trump is willing to trade away The Wall, Obamacare Repeal, and anything else, to be invited to the swamp parties.

“Mr. President...don’t look now, but the FC saved your political a$$ on that bogus, RINOCARE Bill!”

How? By assuring that Obamacare is never repealed?

All they did is make planed parenthood happy.

Trump and Ryan were foolish to publicly schedule a vote before making sure they had the 216 needed to win. I suspect in business Trump didn’t start constructing until the contracts were signed.

As to the healthcare bill itself, the replacement would not have benefited those of us who are buying unsubsidized private plans and have seen our premiums triple since Obamacare passed and our benefits decline. It failed big time in not creating a national market. It also left the O’care infrastructure in place. It was a poor bill and deserved to die. When compared to Trump’s campaign health care proposal it was pure bait and switch.

Ryan was right in one thing. He stated the GOP has not learned to govern. They need to learn fast because if they continue behaving as they are now, the 2018 elections will be a bloodbath.

“Most of the HFC were members of NeverTrump.”

I campaigned for and contributed to the Trump campaign and that, sir, is pure and utter bullshit of the highest order that came right out of the GOPe rectal database.

At the link below is the most comprehensive list of #NEVERTRUMPers I’ve been able to locate and, while some of the members of the Freedom Caucus did not support Trump during the primaries, NONE of them came close to Paul Ryan (who was obviously colluding with the Clinton campaign at one point) in his opposition to Trump. Nevertheless, Trump considers Ryan an ally and the Freedom Caucus his enemy?!

And this situation is exactly what the left counts on, every time they expand government and create more enforced dependence.
