Looks like that lesson we talked about the other day hasn’t been learned.

I think it’s going to be a long 4 years. Oh well, at least Hillary isn’t in charge.

So we at least have that I guess.

They didn’t embarrass him, he did. Ryancare was complete BS. Read the summary on Ryans own website and its basically Obamacare living on. There were only a few very minor tweaks.
But there was nothing to change it in any meaningful way. 70 year old men would still have to pay for reproductive services. The rates that have doubled and tripled over the last couple of years would remain the same.
It looks like it was written by insurance companies.

And I have a bridge to sell you if you think phase 2 or 3 would ever come up a year or so from now.

Trump isn’t the “boss” and we don’t have an obligation not to embarrass the boss. We are the boss and he is the employee, hired to do a job.

As for locking them in a room till they agree, they were holding the GOPe feet to the fire. If you mean stay in the room until Trump and Ryan agree to repealing Obamacare, then fine. No deal is better than the crap deal Ryancare offered us. Ironclad promises were made in the election.

Yes, it is a verified tweet - word for word.

The FC saved Trump from a very bad bill that Ryan,Preibus,Walsh and the GOP was foisting on all of us.

Pence, who was the point man on Ocare, also failed to protect Trump.

Now we are the enemy?

Lump us in with Dems?

Fight us?

Why don’t they just repeal Ocare?

What is the GOP afraid of?

And just who are the conservatives surrounding Trump in the inner circle?

Trump needs a new inner circle.

He tweeted it this morning. I almost fell over. This is nuts.

Perfectly sane compared to the kamikaze caucus taking a blow torch to POTUS’s agenda. Sow the wind...

I’ve been wary of her and her influence.

I’m getting mixed signals about what the Freedom Caucus actually stands for. Another FR thread detailed its primary funding, coming from dubious sources.

Ad Reince to the list. They will work hard to keep him in their bubble, but public popularity has a life of its own. He’s playing with fire. He was very popular in contrast with Hillary, but that popularity can vanish in an instant. Whether he likes it or not, he is “on his own” now.

Trump is shooting himself in the foot with this. His biggest supporters are Conservatives, less so with Rinos.

Ivanka/Jared/Dina(wifeofTeneoExecutive)/Gary camp.

I voted for Trump to be president. Not his family. The nepotism thing is not something that belongs in any workplace, much less in the White House.

Yuge mistake.

If he keeps this up, he’s a one term wonder.

Freedom Caucus saved his b***
He should be thanking them.

Ryan/TrumpCARE was no better, and arguably worse, than Pelosi/ObamaCARE

It's real alright.

Unwise, to be polite about it. "Real stupid" to be more blunt, and to be frank about it, he's starting to piss me off.

You must know of a different House than the one where the FC comprises about 30 Congressmen, well 29 now.

If American wanted a doctrinaire conservative, Ted Cruz would be President.

If Republicans cared about keeping their word, they would repeal Obama care... kind of like they promised for 6 years.

Before someone claims this is more “3D Chess”, the Reince Priebus appointment said it all. Trump caters to the GOP-e.

This is all done so that some in the party can say: "We are just ONE MORE election cycle from getting things done."

Just wait until we have the House 'cuz nothing can get done otherwise....just wait until we have the Senate 'cuz nothing can get done otherwise.....just wait until we have the White House 'cuz nothing can get done otherwise.

I am SO TIRED of this. The perfect is the enemy of the good, and nothing good is happening. Trump needs to open up a woodshed right next to Barry's Beer Summit table in the backyard of the White House. The FC people need to be heard, dealt with, and coerced to unify behind Trump.

Do we now have to wait, once again, for ANOTHER election cycle to purge the RINOs? Careful....we may lose Congress!

Goading them back to the negotiating table? Threatening the only principled people on obamacare isn’t the way. He wants them back, he needs to put up a much stronger bill slap down of obamacare than he did.

And sent ivanka on a long vacation while the grown ups talk.
