The sooner the president realizes that Ryan is an establishment swamp dwelling snake...

Posted on 03/29/2017 4:54:18 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

The sooner the president realizes that Ryan is an establishment swamp dwelling snake...that's going to suck him down into the swampy quicksand and destroy his chances of enacting HIS agenda the better off he and we will be. Ryan represents the enemy within!

Trump won the election already! Now it's his duty is to change gears, uphold the constitution, drain the swamp and MAGA. Quit screwing around with unwanted, unpopular, unsustainable, unconstitutional health care schemes. Push for and accept nothing less than a full repeal on Obamacare and then get to work enacting the rest of HIS MAGA agenda!!

And I guarantee you that if he repeals Obamacare, builds the wall, enforces the law, deports them all, ends sanctuary cities, slaps a moratorium on Muslim immigration, dumps the Iran nuke deal, renegotiates and makes better trade deals, brings back manufacturing and jobs, ends the war on coal, gas & oil, gets domestic oil flowing, dumps the EPA, cuts taxes, cuts spending, cuts debt, cuts regulations, cuts government, appoints constitutionally-minded judges, restores the constitution and liberty, returns education to the states, returns healthcare and welfare to the states, and secures the borders, secures the nation, secures our sovereignty, and rebuilds our military he will go down in history as one of the greatest president ever!

Do as much of this as is humanly possible in his first two-years and he will be reelected and his coattails will pull in even greater Republican majorities.

Screwing us over with Obamacare or GOP-Obamacare-lite will seriously degrade his chances of accomplishing much of anything else. In fact, he will be the establishment’s bitch from that day forward. Ryan and the GOPe are already emboldened enough to start threatening to work against him on the wall. Nip it in the bud or you're already a lame duck!

We the people are in mo mood to allow anyone to bait and switch and screw us over. You will lose your support base.

We are demanding a full repeal!!

The most important thing he ran on and what even got him out of the starting gate to begin with is that he was the ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT candidate who was going to repeal Obamacare, secure the borders, cut the taxes, drain the swamp and make America great again!

Ryan is a bottom feeding, swamp dwelling establishment snake. Ryancare is a piece of unconstitutional, unwanted, unsustainable, big government socialist, anti-freedom, anti-American, scum sucking, establishment swamp snake feces!

Flush it and him!

Do not get sucked down into the quagmire of the establishment swamp!!

Keep the feds on the mission critical issues of securing our sovereign constitutional republic and our God-given inalienable rights and out of the day-to-day nitty gritty governing details that are reserved to the sovereign states and we the self-governing people.

Central planning does not work and it's unconstitutional to boot!

Demand a full repeal!

Give Liberty a chance.

>>We knew he was a ‘snake’ when we found out he was taking money from George Soros...<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I do not understand how he gets a pass for being a huge fan of the militant ATHEIST, AYN RAND.

Ryan is not just a reader of Ayn Rand, but a FOLLOWER.

Her “Objectivism,” setting man’s “wisdom” ahead of God’s, is the ORIGINAL SIN, meaning it leads to all other ills in the world.

He’s no longer a candidate. His position as President of the United States now requires that he abide by the constitution.

Completely agree Jim!

Why Trump would attack the FC, while giving Ryan (the guy who tried to destroy him during the campaign) a pass was not only miscalculation, it was just plain stupid! Factor in also Trump characterizing Ryancare (read Obamacare 2.0) as a “beatiful” thing, was beyond insulting to our intelligence!

President Trump, you signing anything other than a repeal is going to seriously damage your credibility! If it doesn’t include a repeal, don’t sign the damn thing! The GOP sent Obama repeal after repeal, now all of a sudden they can’t? Bull sh*t!

President Trump, we were loyal to you, please show us the same loyalty!

This is an excerpt a blog post I did:

While there are conservative voters who want it all repealed, there are others who want some replacement like Rand Paul, but others yet who want to keep things in place like Trump promised.    If Trump violates his campaign promise and drops Obamacare with no replacement, he’s in trouble.  The media will run story after story of not only how he’s a conman and liar but of people negatively affected.  The people who voted for him and trusted him that are currently now using Obamacare and expect either a better system or the ability to get help if they are ill, will look elsewhere. Trump barely won in Democrat states with a total of 70,000 people COMBINED.  These people did not vote for Trump to repeal and not replace Obamacare.  They voted for him for a better healthcare system.  In order for Trump to win the next election, he will need to maintain his voter base, and some the portion that helped put him over the top will be voting Democrat if Obamacare is not replaced with a better system for them.  Also, exclude those voters for a minute and think how it will motivate Democrat voters to come out who otherwise stayed at home as they weren’t motivated.

They should work to open up the markets and lower costs - making the system as free market as possible, but at the same time, he made a promise to help those who can’t afford it.  If they are successful and prices go down, perhaps less people will need help as time goes on, and the goalposts can be moved as less people will need government healthcare (although the reality is that some always will).  The Democrats are aware of the fact that you can’t get what you want right away, so they settle.  The far left settled for Obamacare because it was a step towards their goal of socialized medicine.  They didn’t get everything they wanted then, but they knew it wasn’t the endgame.

My point is that people who are looking to flat repeal or repeal and replace without adhering to Trump’s campaign promise will win the short term battle on this, but they will lose the war because the Democrats will come in and give you something to the left of Obamacare.  Republicans won’t get a shot again.  Not only that, but then you will lose having a President who is pro-life, pro 2nd Amendment, who is willing to put conservatives on SCOTUS, enforce immigration laws, wants tougher vetting, helps business by easing regulations and lowering taxes, wants fair trade, eases climate regulations, is tough on ISIS, expects our NATO members to meet commitments, is pro-Israel, etc.  You’ll lose all that and lose on healthcare too in the end.

Trump never ran on “just repeal.” Strange time to bring up this forceful demand. Did people just ignore the 100 times Trump said “repeal and replace” in his rallies?

You are aware Ryancare contained NO repeal and kept a good portion of Obamacare intact...right?

And if you think the RINOS could’ve been trusted for phases 2 and 3, you are a chump!

Bill Bennett always touted Paul Ryan when he was on the radio. I never liked Bill Bennett.

House rules prevent me from posting the tweet I sent to Ryan when his bill failed.

He is the head of a pack of self-serving cowards.

I liked Bill Bennett. He was open about being GOPee and recognized that his radio audience was not. He provided much info about about being an insider and was willing to listen to other positions. His support for PRyno did seem way out of touch though.

The members installed him as Speaker, not once, but twice. He didn’t want to be Speaker. FWIW, I think he is honest and a smart guy, but he is not much of a leader. The problem is no one else wants to be Speaker.

Trump can have it repealed but he has gone on record both before and after his election that he wants care for everyone, that his plan will be beautiful, that insurance companies will not exclude based on prexisiting conditions, and that 26 year children should remain on their parents policies. So what will his replacement be? It cannot involve a return to true insurance and it will keep government mandates.

My point is I believe Trump is not being dragged down. This is Trump. I agree with what you say except for blaming Ryan for what Trump is doing. Blame Trump. I accept it. It looks like we will get solid SC picks and some semblance of immigration control. It was all I hoped for out of Trump and I got hammered here for saying so. He won’t go all the way on anything. He won’t eliminate the EPA, he will not drop the Paris climate treaty, he will not build a border long true wall, he is a reformer, populist, and pragmatist. Not a principled Conservative. All in all he is exceeding my expectations.
