President Trump delivered an ultimatum to House Republicans on Thursday night: Vote to approve the measure to overhaul the nation’s health-care system on the House floor Friday, or reject it and the president will move on to his other legislative priorities.
The president signaled that the time for negotiations was over with rank-and-file Republicans who were meeting late at night on Capitol Hill to try to find common ground on the embattled package crafted by House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.).
The move was a high-risk gamble for the president and speaker, who have both invested significant political capital in passing legislation that would rewrite the 2010 Affordable Care Act. For Trump, who campaigned as a skilled negotiator capable of forging a good deal on behalf of Americans, it could either vindicate or undercut one of his signature claims. If the measure fails, it would mean that Obamacare — something that congressional Republicans have railed against for seven years — would remain in place.
“Disastrous #Obamacare has led to higher costs & fewer options. It will only continue to get worse! We must #RepealANDReplace. #PassTheBill,” Trump tweeted from his official White House account as the meeting was wrapping up Thursday night.

He didn’t wait for them to diddle around with it.
It almost looks like he wants to call the vote so it will fail.
Now I know he says otherwise, but forcing the vote tomorrow makes it seem like he’s not as adamant about this as one might think.

Ryan is a Chamber of Commerce buy, open borders, North American Union type who sells amnesty all day long for his financiers.

If you take Trump literally, yes, you’re right.
I think Trumps plan from the beginning was to get to this very stage, and then find out how much Ryan is willing to risk to avoid a Conservative fix.
I can hardly believe that the GOP had seven years to get something together just in case this day ever arrived and they have a lousy bill to show for it. This is time wasted that could have been beneficial for the Prez, Congress, and the people. Typical Ryan...either he is the wizard of SNAFU or he is overtly working against our Republican President.

Need to repeal it. The 2010 bill with two year transition. People don’t have money to pay for any more expanded Medicaid. Grow economy and deport illegal aliens, that are not working. We shouldn’t pay for lifetime benefits. Stop expenses of refugees. Budget not even passed yet! His people aren’t all in place.
Walk away. Focus on tax cuts while the Senate crafts a better bill.
The Freedom Caucus voted to make Ryan speaker. They own Ryan and will now own Obamacare.
