The lawyer who founded Judicial Watch and later Freedom Watch, Larry Klayman, has sent a letter to Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, asking him to look at a whistleblowers evidence of systematic illegal surveillance on prominent Americans, again including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other justices, 156 judges, prominent businessmen such as Donald Trump, and even yours truly.
That spying was done, Klaymans letter contends, by the FBI.
Its become a major issue following President Trumps assertion that he and Trump Tower were spied upon by the federal government, and the subsequent denials by intelligence and law-enforcement officials, including FBI Director James Comey, who famously cleared Hillary Clinton on accusations she mishandled classified information as U.S. secretary of state.

Trump is right.
“COMEY: With respect to the president’s tweets about alleged wiretapping directed at him by the prior administration, I have no information that supports those tweets and we have looked carefully inside the FBI. The Department of Justice has asked me to share with you that the answer is the same for the Department of Justice and all its components. The department has no information that supports those tweets.”
He is the Federal Bureau od “investigation” and this is cound by reviewing discovery documents in a congressional office? WTF?
This should be interesting.
Lets hope that it gets some traction.
Yep, Klayman thru Judicial Watch as been far more effective than all of Congress, in the last decade or so, when it comes to exposing government wrong doing.
Oddly....how all this spills out AFTER Comey’s testimony
Those who knew about this must not have discussed it in phone calls.
He had a chance to tell the truth.
You nailed it. I was telling my wife this last night. Makes me think that the congress are pretty much useless. Maybe because they aren’t taken seriously and are accused of being political.
Wiretapping in the strictest sense is attaching a listening device to phone lines. Perhaps that is not how the surveillance was collected.
Planting a bug or using other types of hidden microphones would not technically be considered "wiretapping" if your main desire was to mislead someone who is investigating.
I haven't seen a transcript, but I wonder if Comey was asked if the FBI, or any federal intelligence agency, had monitored or recorded any private communications by Trump or any of his advisers.
Pop more corn ....
Larry did a hell of a Job founding Judical watch and knows his stuff
Yes! Go Judicial Watch.
Doesn’t Trump have the ability to fire Comey? If so why hasn’t he? What am I missing here?
156 Judges? I’ve believed for a long time that judges and politicians are routinely blackmailed - which would explain how they suddenly go RINO or wacky in other ways sometimes.
comey, like a true liberal weasel- covered himself by stating “I have no information”- that is not the same as “There was no wiretapping or surveillance”
Sounds like Comey’s trying to do a Slick Willy with what the definition of “is”, is.
Comey said on Monday that there is an ongoing FBI invrstgation into the Trump Russia collusion. Would that involve surveillance director Comey?
