Howdy, Sandy! What is he typing? LOL!
I have to walk a ways from the house to get clear of the trees to get lightning videos. I almost waited too long to come back to the house today. Just as the door closed behind me the wind and rain hit with a whoosh.
I also didn’t realize at the time that that lightning bolt originated either right behind me or over my head. Saw it when I played the video and scapped the freeze frame. Yikes!
You Are Blooming Flowers |
You feel truly blessed in life and can sometimes be overwhelmed with emotions. You have an artist's eye. You are always looking for beauty in the mundane. You have a good sense of aesthetics, especially when it comes to shapes and color. |
Well darn. I’d hoped it had warmed back up a little at least. At least you aren’t getting buried in more snow.
Pixie is being lazy most of the time but is doing fine. Her appetite is finally slowing down to normal. No more gorging.
All are clamed down now after the evening’s storms. Got pretty rowdy for a while.
Well, I envy you the rain but not the storms that went along with it with high winds and possible tornadoes!
Flowers bloom so much prettier there than they do here. I know you’re enjoying them!
You crazy gal! I hope you weren’t under a tree during that storm! LOL!
The pictures are great, but we wouldn’t want you getting zapped!

Not the first time I have been called a blooming.... well, flowers was not second word used but blooming, yep, that was in there.
The last question was hard. I like 'em all!
Thanks for playing, Sis! (((hugs)))
Bet you really ARE ready for spring! Are the birds returning already?
I suppose the kittehs freak out during close thunder claps?
Mine?
We didn’t get much rain today. Not even a half inch, where other parts of the state had some flooding. And trees down and power out. We just got lucky today.
Wha-choo talkin’ ‘bout? LOL! Your daffodils are blooming beautifully.
Actually, I was under a tree, leaning against it. There are other larger trees there, too, and the one I was under hasn’t ever been struck before. I know ... there’s always a first time. LOL!
I imagine we’ll ALL take rain over snow! LOL! You’ve had plenty already and sure don’t need any more this year. Time for some green and other pretty colors.
Some of the cats aren’t bothered by thunder and others freak out big time. Rough for those for about an hour or so since there were more storms besides the initial one. Several thunder claps shook the house.
It was a GOOD storm night! LOL
Yours, it is!
WOOHOO!
*snork*
We’ll just stick with the flowers! :) Are you ready for some where you are?
Thanks for playing tonight!
I don’t have a yard full like you do! We have them in that small planter area where I took the picture of Peaches. Need to thin them out and put some in more of the beds so they’ll spread! I just love their cheerfulness.
If you have Firefox, you might know that you can get photo themes for the top of the page. I created one from a pic that I took of our tulips. Turned out pretty darn good! :) Now I see them when I have the laptop running!
Indeed there is “always a first time”! Be careful out there.
Dude....
So you’re a flower now? Were you a flower child back in d’ day? :)
flower child?
I do not know. I was a hippie. Does that count as a flower child?
