When I saw him a few weeks ago he seemed to be truly suffering from the progression of his arthritis. I can sympathize with him because my varied ailments are piling up and making it difficult to live life the way I want to live. Lord, please help me make the decision to KEEP struggling. In the midst of your prayers for Tom and Donna y’all please tuck in a little prayer for me during my visit with the heart transplant docs tomorrow

Beautifully said. He scared me a bit, too...but had a huge heart for his friends. He was terribly upset about John’s passing. As we all are...and now heartbroken over this.
