FBI Director James Comey declined to say Monday whether his team has launched an investigation into the leaks that led to former White House national security advisor Mike Flynn's ouster.
Comey was pressed by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., to say whether he could confirm such an investigation is taking place, but Comey said he could not because it might confirm that classified information was leaked.
"I can't, but I hope people watching know how seriously we take leaks of classified information," he said during Monday's hearing on Russia's influence on the election. "But I don't want to confirm it by saying that we're investigating it."

Comey has a sure felony crime here that he won’t commit? And He had Hillary dead to rights on mishandling top secret data at the very least. But he testified today that he will keep looking and investigating for a Russian Trump connection that violated the law where none has been found. Comey has to go.

Comey is a Democratic tool. As he intended, the hearing only slandered Trump.

Months ago, I read on FR that FBI workers won’t even speak to him anymore, that they shun him for failing to do the right thing. His resignation needs to be demanded. He needs to be investigated. He is so obviously compromised. At the rallies, when PDJT mentions Comey, they should yell “Lock HIM up!”
The biggest problem with all this is that President Trump really has few people to turn to who he can trust and rely on. The system is thoroughly compromised.

Comey should have been fired along with the DoJ firings. Next good opportunity would be amidst another level of mass firings that I hope are coming up. Since we are only two months into Trump’s admin I don’t think it is too late to fire Comey. I do think the longer he waits the harder it is to fire him from a political standpoint.
