Obama did nothing tangible to help Flint with their water problems while it took only 2 months for Trump [who is being harassed every day] to zero in on some financing for a replacement water treatment plant.
Obama really is/was a zero.

Flint is a dead rustbelt city that was built by General Motors in the early 20th century. It is now an industrial wasteland with a dwindling population and crumbling infrastructure. Like Detroit, Pontiac, Saginaw, Muskegon, and Bay City, these cities are one trick ponies, and without the industrial base that financed them, they just need to be cast aside and left to rot into the ground.
Oh, and these cities are the target destination for the fed importation of “refugees” and illegal DACA dreamers, turning these cities into unrecognizable by American standards third world shitholes.
As a disclaimer, I grew up in Pontiac, MI. I saw all of this starting to unfold in the early 1990’s.
Now why didn’t Barry think of this? and why ain’t the fake news outlets reporting on this?

Every municipality in the country needs to be competent and self-reliant in handling its own water needs. This is not a proper federal role!

After paying off the unions and all the elected officials, that will be about twelve dollars to fix the problem.
Trump promised to help upgrade infrastructure folks.
This is what that looks like. If Trump did this for 1000 cities nationwide, it would amount to $128 billion. Sounds like a lot of money. Right now, each year, we are spending $500 billion on welfare.
It’s not that much money, and it will be spent over a number of years.
We’re going to be upgrading highways, bridges, dams, and other things. It had to happen sooner or later.
Folks, states send money to Washington. Some of that money is expected to come back in various forms. Some states like California will pay in more taxes than they get back. That helps out smaller states with roads and other needs.
We are taxed at the same rate, but some states have a much smaller tax base. They do need roads, and when we’re traveling across country we use them. We’re glad they are then when we want to travel.
I am not a big fan of massive spending, but at some point we knew this was going to have to be done. It’s adult like to face it and get it done.
It wasn’t the EPA it was Trump.
The EPA caused and covered up this atrocity.
The EPA needs to go away.

This restores clean water to a mostly black community and brings in lots of jobs that will boost the lagging economy in Flint.
