We listened to our members, found a consensus, and made improvements to AHCA. That's the legislative process.
Beginning this morning by welcoming the Prime Minister of Iraq, Haider al-Abadi, to the Vice President's Residence at the Naval Observatory.
Good info, SC.
It will take time to get rid of so many who are trying to destroy Trump, if we even can.
How can we possibly trust our intel community and anything they tell us?
I can answer that, we can’t!
@POTUS @realDonaldTrump addresses an enthusiastic GOP conference ahead of #healthcare vote.
Are you feeling better today?
I thought I would hear booing when McConnell was mentioned...but President Trump kind of politely “warned” people to be more gracious than they probably felt. I didn’t hear booing either, but a mediocre applause.

These are the changes to AHCA that House leadership unveiled last night. Unclear whether it'll be enough

Good morning, Jane.
Can’t answer your question for sure but I think I recall that it was removed.
Thanks much, Ray...I was 3 seconds too slow :)
Appreciate the links.
Thanks, Gran. I will report back, if/when I find out.
Welcome Jane, it is the thought that counts.....
#JudgeGorsuch: "I take the judicial process very seriously and I go through it step by step...And I leave all the other stuff at home."
Thanks, again for the links, Ray.
I think I found my answers....
Nothing but kicking the can, on the absurd/business choking Cadillac tax....this tax should be REMOVED, not delayed...
Page 19. This section of the amendment adds an additional year of relief from Obamacares Cadillac tax, moving the implementation date from 2025 to 2026.
I couldn’t find anything about the individual mandate...but, I may have missed it.
Overall, it appears the changes are mostly Medicaid based, which are good starts, in good directions.
Your link should be posted as it’s own thread, for all to see....
Have to agree with this reporter:
Post-Comey Testimony: MSM Still Stands By Reports Of Obama Admin Spying On Trump
Enjoyed watching Trump’s Louisville rally last night. But at one point during his speech the Prsident used the ‘argument’ that, “we have to quickly pass this Ryan healthcare bill, so we can then move on to Tax reform.”
Wait — WHY? What the heck does that mean? Tax reform does not necessitate Rynocare being done first. Do Healthcare reform properly! What’s the big “rush”?
Very disappointing to hear this non-argument “quick! quick! quick! we gotta hurry and pass Rynocare!” ‘argument’ used by President Trump. It’s also insults the intelligence of his supporters.
Maybe what he means is he has to do this crappy healthcare “reform” to get the votes for massive tax cuts? I dunno....

I could be wrong, but I think since Obummercare was deemed a tax, it has to be taken care of first in order to do the tax cut our President wants.
Is this right?
This isn’t helpful....
