Ryan and the moderate GOPe rinos that did everything to defeat Trump, tried to pull the wool over our eyes with this bad bill.
I think we are going to find that they were trying to tie this around Trumps neck and it would have made it sure that he would lose in 2020.

Given that truth is a nebulous concept to these people, I somehow doubt that this would accomplish much.
Trump’s remarks today showed a remarkable view of the political landscape.
No other person in the GOP would have had the guts to lay what is about to happen squarely on the Dems.
The Dems can gloat short-term, but the O-Care disaster on the horizon will be their doom.

I’m of the opinion that Trump will go to bed relieved he dodged a grenade.

I would have preferred to see this pass. The House had already passed three bills under the 3rd Step of the Process and the President’s team and Price had almost completed the EO’s required for the changes under Step 2.
I think folks (including employers) need IMMEDIATE help with this ... but clearly, I have not been with the majority on this one.
As for the temperature over there ... the #NTs are feeling vindicated and empowered...and I’m a bit black and blue.

I think this would be true if Ryan was on this limb alone ...but Pence and Price are on it, too. So I'm not convinced this will do the harm to Ryan's career that many expect.

Ha! That brought back some boot camp memories.
I remember the first week of camp one of the butt cans didn’t get emptied. Drill sergeant noticed it at 2 am walk through.
The lights came on and we were ordered to empty it one cig butt at a time. Down 3 flights of stairs and out to dumpster running as fast as we could. Man we had smoked a lot that day!!

You’re right, God has the plan. And I firmly believe that Trump is his instrument to save this country. Every time I think I have a great plan and it doesn’t turn out, His plan for me ends up being so much better.
