The little secret here is the fact that George Soros is making a good share of his money from the heroin trade.

I’m so glad I kicked my drug habit years ago. Today’s drugs are so much stronger. Doubt I’d be alive if I hadn’t quit. Thank you Lord.

If they would just legalize it, the problem would stop!

Isn’t that right Colorado?

I well remember being told as a nurse in the early 2000’s that pain was “undertreated” and opioids were “underprescribed.” As a nurse with already 20+ years of clinical experience I knew this was a prescription (no pun intended) for disaster. But I had no idea it would end up as bad as it has.

“Ohio is in the throes of a heroin and opioid epidemic”

Honestly, our country should be ashamed of itself...to allow this to happen again after the 70’s and 80’s ...Obama and Bush did nothing to stop the flow of drugs over our borders and Americans are dying because of them. The blood is on their hands for sure. Imagine, DJT is the first national figure in 20 years to bring these issues to the forefront.

Our body politic is a bunch of murderers sitting around DC collecting paychecks. What a shame!!!

At the hospital I work we had to restart the freezers in the decommissioned food services building for the flu non-survivors. Nothing to do with drugs, but once again the flu shot was a misfire.

I know, because I am forced by my employer to get the shot, but I have had a bout with flu for the last six CONSECUTIVE years. This year was particularly bad, in that I had to take 2 full weeks off, and will be returning to work on Saturday.

It’s flu, not drugs IMHO.

Why is life so bad in our nation that so many people use such dangerous drugs to escape it?

My perspective: As a three time user of pain meds, and a three time survivor because of competent medical attention. I can say that the need for pain meds goes away when the pain goes away. Take care of your body, folks; if somethings wrong, fix it! Spend the time and money to fix what is wrong! Insist that your health care professional give you a plan to end the source of pain. There are two sources of problems: addiction and incurable conditions. No one has all the answers on all the incurable conditions yet, save pain management professionals. But addicts, people who enjoy getting high on their “pain meds,” have no excuse. My very informed opinion.

"How Obamacare Is Fueling America's Opioid Epidemic"

"As part of an Obamacare initiative meant to reward quality care, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is allocating some $1.5 billion in Medicare payments to hospitals based on criteria that include patient-satisfaction surveys. Among the questions: “During this hospital stay, how often did the hospital staff do everything they could to help you with your pain?” And: “How often was your pain well controlled?”

"To many physicians and lawmakers struggling to contain the nation’s opioid crisis, tying a patient’s feelings about pain management to a hospital’s bottom line is deeply misguided––if not downright dangerous. “The government is telling us we need to make sure a patient’s pain is under control,” says Dr. Nick Sawyer, a health-policy fellow at the UC Davis department of emergency medicine. “It’s hard to make them happy without a narcotic. This policy is leading to ongoing opioid abuse.”

In effect, Obamacare PAYS doctors and hospitals for getting people dependent on opioids. (You can't make this stuff up!)

Here's a post from the comment section of the bleeding heart WAPOST. It's so simple one can't imagine.

While my son was addicted, he refused to use in Japan because he knew they would throw him in jail and throw away the key.

I sense a solution.....

DEAD HUMAN STEAKS

That cold storage trailer used to store heroine dead humans will later be reused to transport your steak meats. Lots of thin cracks in the walls should add spice to your meal.
