A U.S. visa program designed to temporarily admit religious workers from other countries may be letting jihadists into the country, security experts and religious leaders warn.
The R visa program is for non-immigrant clerics and religious workers and allows successful applicants to stay in the U.S. for up to five years. They are then allowed to apply for a permanent residency under their R-1 status.
But some critics say the visa raises red flags and has long been abused by leaders with extreme views.

I’m sorry, I don’t have a specific reference.
It made an impression on me at the time, that our allies were thrown to the wolves, and any future influence for the USA was made so much more difficult.
But ISIS did some careful intelligence prep - their military strategist was a Colonel from the Intelligence service of Saddam’s Iraqi Air Force, and they had a bunch of Ba’athist Intel folks working for him. Many of them met up with Abu Bakr al Baghdadi (who had been al Queda in Iraq under Zarqawi), while they were all confined at Camp Bucca down by Basra.

Let ‘em in. Tap their phones. Round up anyone that is conspiring to pull something, and the preacher boys, too. Boot them all out of the country after they serve maximum sentences, unless of course they end up hanging.
I’m still astounded how the Left has warped so many minds in Europe and the US. The first reason Society comes together to form governments at all levels is for self-defense. Its in the Preamble to our Constitution.
Since islam is a rape culture, German and Swedish women often don’t report sexual assaults. It took a long time, but the Left has been remarkably successful at driving Natural Law, the Law of Reason from the public square.
Sounds like a damn good pivot point to have islam declared a terrorist cult. (and not a religion)

Christianity created the Age of Reason and no other belief system is as articulated and debated and inclusive and “just” and it is the least “tribal” religion, being very catholic. Worldview is everything.
The Marxist Postmodernist movement started in Germany and spread first through Europe which is all about destroying virtue formation in children (wisdom/traditions, perseverance, etc) so that they become “happy” slaves of the state. (Fichte, 1810, “snow is black” destroy free will).
Socialism is slavery of the virtuous. Europe was “socialized” even before WWII. It embeds dependency and servility in children (emasculates boys and destroys the natural instincts (femininity) in women-—by blurring the sexes which increases differences, puerility and “hate” of the other). Emasculated cultures (ones without virtue) will always collapse and end up in tyranny (the endgame of Marxists). Chaos can only be prevented by mature discourse among virtuous people to get to the ‘truth’, otherwise there is war and destruction or submission.
Suppressing truth has been going on for 70 years or more in the West (and schools destroyed Classical Christian curricula for operant conditioning (into slavery)), so that people remain puerile and triggered and unable to articulate essential truths and have “meaning” in life. They seek the “easiest” path to pleasure which will lead to hell. Classical curricula gave us the Socratic Method and Aristotelian Logic, and with the best ethic system (true Christianity) we could “progress” to a very high level because of profound thought reached by our Founders. They had that ability of mature males to argue and discuss, and reach the pinnacle of excellence to a political system which embraced the maximum of freedom and guaranteed the freedom of speech (and thought).
Our freedoms are being completely erased by our “culture” of “hate speech” and programming (indoctrination) of our children by Hollywood and skooling, having children removed from Reality (mother/father paradigm/Natural Law (common sense/natural instincts)). Children are having agency destroyed (unstructured time eliminated) by habituating the brain to being “programmed” only—no agency (virtue), and no free will being habituated in children-—just narcissism, vice (laziness) and entitlements and dependency (vice). Vice, like in Europe, will collapse cultures always; it is why our socialist system is normalizing vice in our children 24/7-—sodomy and baby-killing is normalized so Evil is Good and Slavery is Freedom. Reason (to truth) is impossible for the irrational ones. Without virtue, there is no freedom or truth allowed and vice is slavery.
How can we possibly have a shortage of “religious workers” here? I don’t think it could be claimed we even have a shortage of jihadist religious workers.

They need to take a hard look at the F1 Student Visa program too. D students from suspect countries are enrolling in fly-by-night colleges to get into the country at alarming rates.
