Gay and transgender U.S. military veterans will be allowed to participate in the city of Boston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade next weekend, in a reversal made by organizers on Friday.
In 2015 and 2016, members of the gay veterans’ group OutVets were allowed to march in the Boston parade, one of the largest in the country, after some sponsors threatened to pull funding from the event and local politicians threatened to boycott it.
But despite OutVets’ recent participation, the South Boston Allied War Veterans Council, which organizes the parade, voted on Tuesday to exclude the group from this year’s parade on March 19, stating that a rainbow logo worn by members violates parade rules and that OutVets submitted a late application to participate in the parade. Following the decision, Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh along with Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker and Sen. Edward Markey said they would not attend the parade.

Does anyone doubt that homosexuals have been participating in this-and other- parades since they began? The difference now is they INSIST on making a point of their abnormal-ness. What happened to keeping your personal life personal and private? I don’t have to know everything about you to see you in a parade for a SAINT. The more we know about everyone’s personal life the more we have to judge-and reject- them on. There are many things people do in private that would disgust their friends if they knew-so why make a point of them? Normalcy of perversion IS the point,IMO. If they just shut up and marched as ex-service members there would be no controversy; but their homosexuality is everything. “This is what I do with my genitalia” IS their identity! If they make a point of self-identifying in the parade, onlookers should just turn around until they pass.
More evidence the country has been given up by God. No swinging pendulum any more.

I am so sick of the attempts by the left to normalize abhorrent behavior. Homosexuality repulses me, and it is as though they are out of control with their deviancy.
It is sickening because it is all for Mind Control of little children.

They.destroyed the meaning of words and corrupted the logic in children. They made “equal” and “Rights” and “marriage” meaningless, so they are now able to warp the perceptions of little children with their images/movies and tv “programming” to make them totally irrational with extremely warped Reality of the artificial socialist utopia.
Children will be irrational and warped for life, since emotions and irrational images which defy Nature and nature’s God are being embedded into their minds connected to concepts that will exist for their lifetime.
Sick, warped ideas inserted into 5 year old skulls and more mush and lies with Common Core, will warp the children for life and make them snowflakes, where Truth (God/Christianity) will only create “cognitive dissonance”. They are normalizing the Brave New World, the Orwellian world where Slavery is Freedom, Girls are Boys, and Evil is Good.
They have to erase the Christian Worldview, as the Postmodernists (”Kill God” sodomites) knew, so they could normalize Ba’al Rites and return us to Babylonian cultures of orgies and slavery (tribal mindsets) with everyone, esp. little children and babies for their cannibalism and sacrifice “rites” to the He/She goat god.

This seems reasonable if you take it to mean just what it says. Veterans who happen to be gay marching with the other veterans. But they conflate this with having a special different "gay" group of veterans marching. This is about hijacking the meaning of the march rather than participating in a march to honor veterans.
As for trans-gender people, I have to agree with Milo. Being trans-gender is nothing to celebrate. It comes in two cases: some trans-genders have a mental disease that leads them to mutilate their body in order to suit their delusions. Its sick that there is a whole industry and political movement to help with the mutilation. And for others its just being a fashionable "victim" in the latest "civil rights" movement.
Why do gays always want to march in parades? Are they exhibitionists?

I thought the whole idea of ‘them’ in the Military (Yes, I know ‘they’ have ALWAYS been in the Military) was to prove ‘they’ were no different from anyone else.
NOW, if ‘they’ are NO DIFFERENT from the rest of us, why do ‘they’ demand (and are given) special consideration when it comes to the Parade?

They just want to be treated like everyone else....except more special. They couldn’t just march in the parade as “vets”. Oh no. They want EVERYONE to know that they are sodomites and cross-dressers, and they want sodomy/cross-dressing to be on parade and celebrated.
