Study: Hillary Clinton Ran One of the Worst Campaigns in Years
Heat Street ^ | March 8, 2017 | Ian Miles Cheong

A new study by the Wesleyan Media Project has found that the 2016 presidential campaign run by Hillary Clinton is without a doubt one of the worst-run political operations in years.

Interestingly, the directors of the study dispute the argument that “advertising doesn’t matter” in elections. Clinton’s failure to advertise in certain key states, they argue, was the biggest reason for her defeat by Donald Trump.

Imagine that the people that get fat selling advertising think Hillary should have bought more advertising.

And if creditable accusations of rape didn’t bother you in even the slightest way.

I was focusing on his political life, his personal life was and remains a stain on this countries past leadership. I believe his daughter is not his, his wife is a lesbian, and they are all trash and all the money in the world will never change that.

She lost because she was JUST as out of touch as the MSM which she trusted to continue touting the Clinton ‘brand’.

It never occurred to her that the ‘brand’ and especially SHE herself (because of her smug complaisance, arrogant and summary expectation of success) were moribund and repulsive political/ideological relics!

The team came up with a knockout hybrid plan of Sun Tzu and Alinksy.

1.) Let the rats believe they were weak when they were strong on the russians and the jane doe case. Saw which points of attack the Left’s people were most focused on, and set up elaborate briar-patch scenarios and maneuvers on both points, keeping their focus away from his strengths: the actual support of the American people he was visiting by the millions per month. Sun Tzu’s advice: All warfare is based on deception. There is no place where espionage is not used. Offer the enemy bait to lure him. Alinsky’s rule: ‘A good tactic is one your people enjoy.’ Trump encouraged the tactics the left most employed on the attacks they wanted to pursue the most.

2) If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near (and vice versa). DJT never behaved in public like he *expected* to win, and the enemy didn’t realize he was already past them. He constantly referred to polls (which he knew had him winning) so the enemy accepted the ‘truth’ of polls, removing their fear of defeat and ability to analyze the tactical mistakes they were making left and right.

But the main reason for the loss is, IMHO, their vote fraud operation collapsed on election night, probably under never-experienced overwhelming scrutiny and interception by our side. That’s why the nets held off reporting so many states, they were waiting for the fixes that never came.

We've been pointing this out on FR since before the election: for sheer ineptitude this one takes the cake. It wasn't money - her campaign spent $623 million opposed to Trump's $335 million (SOURCE - which, one might suppose, would have supported twice the advertising, but for some reason, didn't. If I were a Dem donor I'd be wondering where all the money went.

Secondly, there is a rumor extant that the internal polling numbers didn't send up any red flags to her campaign staff because they simply stopped looking at them. That would be professional negligence on a massive scale, but there is always the likelihood that the candidate told them not to. In the dark you tend to walk into doors.

Thirdly, Hillary ran a campaign that alienated certain demographics in order to cement support from "oppressed" demographics whose vote she already had. Identity politics will do that to you.

Fourth, the candidate - somebody told her to "be herself" and she did: ugly, resentful, self-righteous, vicious, greedy, entitled, overbearing, divisive, cheating, arrogant, and utterly power-mad. No friends, only worshipers. No principled opposition, only enemies who must be crushed. A coalition built around that is a coalition of hatred, and it showed.

And for all that she still damn near made it. Frankly, that's pretty alarming.

"I still think it was THE BEST CAMPAIGN IN HISTORY!!! It is still providing me many laughs and giggles."

There certainly were cringe moments when - as someone who worked on campaigns in the past - you just could not believe how a tactic or particularly whole grafs in a speech simply. did. not. get. vetted.

Social Media was a large part of her undoing.
For every attempt at covering her azz by the Media, the Internetz were there to post videos of her collapsing and being shoved into a van.

The TRUTH was why Hillary ultimately lost and she (along with the Media) were unable to bury it for a change.

He was indeed very successful, mainly because he and the Media were able to absolutely control the narrative.

I honestly don’t believe he would have fared as well in today’s world of Social Media and alternative Media outlets.

A statement which has to be true to the highest degree to separate his rapes from his political activity - since Juanita Broderick was part of his organization.

That is the same in every possible way as eating a rancid cake and claiming you are evaluating the flour in it. You have to be delusional or dishonest.

I don’t have enough political indoctrination to drink that coolaid.

She is married to one of the most successful politicians in the Post-War II era

Moreover, she is billed as the smartest woman in America and a practitioner of smart governing (or whatever). Her acclaimed "ground game" was mentioned frequently on election night...in the early hours of coverage. Her A game, all very slick and cutting edge and "all that." Truly the Hare in the race. Well, the jockey on the Hare in the race. Well, the cross-eyed hag strapped like Ahab to the haunches of the Hare in the race. :P

Reminds me of the 2002 Winter Olympics at the women’s figure skating competition. Michele Kwan was the favorite to win the gold and that was the big talk for weeks that the gold was hers to lose. Well she ended up losing the gold and had to settle for the bronze. Why? She listened to the hype about the gold being hers, and skated a very safe program with no particular flare to her performance. Even her costume was just plain and very blah. But another skater, whose name escapes me now, went out there and skated her heart out with complicated jumps and footwork and looked sparkling on the ice. This is what overconfidence will do.

Drudge had a link to an experiment that NYU did where they had a couple of actors reproduce one of the debates except Trump was female, Hillary was a male. They assumed that, because they are liberal NYU people, Hillary's message was massively better but people discounted her because of gender bias. They figured once they switched them up, it would reverse and people would think the female Trump was a pushy bitch and the male Hillary was solid and smart.

Boy were they wrong. Turns out that Hillary's smugness and condescending attitude, on a man, were hated. They didn't discount her because of gender, they cut her slack. They found the male Hillary highly unlikeable. The female Trump was viewed as assertive, confident, and smart.

Bottom line: their candidate sucked, the campaign just reflected that. And STILL she got half the nations votes (I know, not literally, I mean if you take out the 3rd party buffoons, close enough0. Scary.
