Study: Hillary Clinton Ran One of the Worst Campaigns in Years
Heat Street ^ | March 8, 2017 | Ian Miles Cheong

A new study by the Wesleyan Media Project has found that the 2016 presidential campaign run by Hillary Clinton is without a doubt one of the worst-run political operations in years.

Interestingly, the directors of the study dispute the argument that “advertising doesn’t matter” in elections. Clinton’s failure to advertise in certain key states, they argue, was the biggest reason for her defeat by Donald Trump.

She lost because Trump was a better campaigner and BECAUSE HIS MESSAGE RESONATED WITH AMERICA!

More Bull$** from the leftists who hate Trump and US!

The Weslyans are a bunch of Methodists who hate conservatives, Israel, and promote open borders.

Baloney news.

Too bad he has folded to the uniparty already with Obamacare.

In years? Try ever. Hillary Clinton was the General George McClellan of the 2016 campaign. She had superior resources, more money and a favorable media but Trump still had one important advantage — she brought herself to the campaign.

She was just going through the motions waiting for her coronation. After all, Bubba and the libs told her it was "Her Turn".

Being a drunken, broken down, socialist, bitch, who abandoned Americans under fire, and who had absolutely NO plans for helping America, didn't help either.

Poorly Run Campaign

Another false narrative. She lost because of the issues. Enough Americans woke up to the fact that 0bama and the Democrats were hell bent on turning the once great USA into a third world banana republic for their sole benefit with the bulk of the rest of up providing tax revenues for them and their friends to squander as they saw fit. The voters said "ENOUGH" and voted to repudiate the vile incompetent 0bama and everything he stood for. Maybe enough saw what 0bama identical policies did to Venezuela.

Democrats can't compete when their goals and philosophies are brought to light. Except for the Bernie freeloaders, the welfare freeloaders, the illegal immigrant freeloaders, and their corporate cronies no one likes the Democrat ideas.

If you look at the group’s webpage they think advertising influences elections so it is not surprising that they come to the conclusion she lost because she didn’t do enough advertising.

“Given this information, I have a hard time understanding why some of her campaign managers are still appearing on Network and Cable News Programs to offer political comment. You would think their credibility and job prospects would be in the toilet. The other day, I saw this “Mookey Guy” on Fox News. He was smirking the whole time like he had something to be proud of. I wouldn’t give these failures the time of day more or less pay them to appear.”

They lost the election and won a participation award!

She wasn’t in a campaign. It was a procession to her coronation.

Clinton’s failure to advertise in certain key states, they argue, was the biggest reason for her defeat by Donald Trump.

They can 'argue' all they like. The reality is that Clinton carpet-bombed the swing states with ads. But because she is cheap, they only filmed 2-3 ads and ran them in heavy rotation to the point where even her staunch supporters were sick of them and the ads became fodder for jokes. Compounding the problem was that the ads boiled down to 'Trump is an evil, scary person' and avoided at all costs any talk of policy beyond 'Hillary wants a good result and wants to take credit for it.'

From the other ad that I saw (always muted), Hillary was in a series of still shots that were posed but presented as candid. Rarely, if ever, was Hillary shown in motion since she is a wretched ungainly, robotic lump.

Leftists are cultists so they will never blame the cult leader for his/her failure. Instead, they will be like the fisherman on Jonah's boat, casting lots to come up with a superstitious explanation for bad fortune.

Arrogance and hubris does not a campaign make......................

Obama had that as well, but he was malleable and as long as he kept to the prompter, his Presidential campaign succeeded (of course the opposition sucked, as evidenced by the debates - Obama v. Romney #1 an exception). Clinton on the other hand, was the exact opposite. She listened to no one and her campaign crashed like a lead balloon.

Besides the fact she was totally corrupt and unlikeable. She never gave anyone a reason to vote for her. It was to vote against who her opponent was personally and not vote FOR something. Trump hit the issues of the affected middle class. Jobs, illegal immigration, law and order, and national pride. We voted for what he represented and said as that resonated.

Somebody hit it on the head when the said - “Politicians stopped listening to voters and instead starting lecturing voters” No longer representative Govt, but rather a ruling class & tyranny

She is married to one of the most successful politicians in the Post-War II era yet his advice was ignored because it was mansplaining.

While I do not disagree that Bill Clinton was a way, way better politician than Hillary. They myth that he was some sort of modern political wizard are little more than a media generated hype. In his 1992 race against George HW Bush, even with Perot as a spoiler taking 19% of Bush's vote, Clinton could only manage a plurality against an unlikable and politically damaged President. Then in 1996 as a sitting president Clinton still couldn't hit 50% against the elderly Bob Dole, probably the most feckless Republican in the last half of the 20th century, who essentially sleep walked through the entire campaign. Not to mention the democrats lost both the House and Senate under Clinton for the first time in 40 years.

Oh, yeah, just wait until Tom Hanks gets done rewriting history with his new mini series for HBO re the 2016 election.

Killary will come out of that looking like a cross between Margaret Thatcher and Mother Teresa.

And if creditable accusations of rape didn’t bother you in even the slightest way.

That was necessary to stomach Slick Willy when he was in office, and it is absolutely necessary to gloss over his presidency now.
