“The Secret Service does ECM sweeps, electronic counter-measures, where they go in frequently and look for listening devices, radio frequencies, all kinds of things to make sure the president or president-elect is not being, in fact, wiretapped or listened in on on specific phone lines,” Bongino revealed.
The former agent, noting Trump had Secret Service protection as a candidate, thinks it’s much more likely the Secret Service discovered something while performing one of their ECM sweeps of Trump Tower and later found out it was the DOJ that had ordered the surveillance.

Bugging telephone traffic doesn’t require physical bugs anymore. Cell phone numbers get cloned. Something similar can happen to land-lines at relays. There’s no evidence of a ‘bug’ for a Secret Service sweep to reveal.
Heck... Go to NEFLIX and rent HBO’s “The Wire”. The show gives you a primer on how it’s done. And I’m sure that the NSA spooks at Forts Mead & Huachuca have a few new wrinkles we haven’t even thought of.
Flynn was in Trump Tower when his call to the Russian ambassador was monitored, and now the press has a transcript of the call.
The evidence could not be any clearer.

I have NO confidence in CONgress doing ANYthing about it...except talk....Just like the Obamacare, the taxes are still there, just moved around. There is no 2 party system.
I recall something like that being talked about back in the 60s with respect to the transducer in a cradled phone. It, like any other transducer in the room (speaker etc) would vibrate and produce micro voltages that could be picked up.
Don’t forget that Newt’s phone calls were recorded by an old couple in florida using a off-the-shelf scanner back in the 90’s.
BTW..... the president's use of the term "wire tap" is to simplify for all to understand what is really "surveillance"

Clearly, that the “White House staff ordered something” is NOT considered “Obama ordered something” by his minions in the national ABCNNBCBS press corpse. They will protect ANY democrat forever in their hatred of Trump.
And more than “the FBI” could be involved - we do have more than one agency capable of executing ANY orders from the white House staff ...
My opinion? Hillary asked for the surveillance through Bill and Loretta Lynch. Jarrett approved. Obama was never in the loop.

Something to remember: God has the wicked under ultimate surveillance. There isn’t a plan, plot, bug, etc. that He doesn’t know about. They can bug the entire world and God will still utterly defeat them in HIS time. Yes, he allows much. But how much does He PREVENT? I believe we’ll perhaps see how much at the Judgment.
Seems like He has given us a reprieve and a revelation of our enemies real wickedness (which is a confirmation to those already paying attention).
One method I heard of preventing eavesdropping through windows is to play music in the air space between the window panes.
I glass installer once told me that they installed the windows at one of the intelligence agencies and that’s what they did.

Well, I won’t argue with you .. except to say .. when a Secret Service person says the automatic sweeps of Trump Tower would have exposed any wire taps .. I tend to believe him - especially when he worked in the WH - and would certainly know what he’s talking about.
There are listening processes we may not know about - for the reason that it’s “secret”.
If the conversation you are interested in is only done PERSON TO PERSON in a room in Trump Tower, all the winks and nudges to AT&T won’t help at all.
It requires a listening/recording/transmission device in or on the outside of the room.

It can be accomplished with a malicious program inserted into the buildings VoIP servers/switches to turn every phone into a listening device. possibly a simple reprogram , possibly through a replacement of a prom/eeprom chip.
