Will Christians roll over and allow Disney to push their LGBT agenda on an audience entirely too young to be exposed to this nonsense by buying a ticket, and thereby supporting, the studios highly anticipated remake of a beloved childrens classic?
Conservative evangelist Franklin Graham is calling on Christians to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to the upcoming Disney Beauty and the Beast remake.

Disney has aired a cartoon with same-sex couples kissing. It has also been announced that their new movie Beauty and the Beast will feature a gay character in an attempt to normalize this lifestyle. Theyre trying to push the LGBT agenda into the hearts and minds of your childrenwatch out! Disney has the right to make their cartoons, its a free country. But as Christians we also have the right not to support their company. I hope Christians everywhere will say no to Disney. I met Walt Disney when I was a young boyhe was very gracious to me, my father Billy Graham, and my younger brother when we visited. He would be shocked at what has happened to the company that he started. The controversy erupted when director Bill Condon told Attitude Magazine that one of his films characters, LeFou, has an exclusively gay moment on-screen with villain Gaston.
LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston, Condon said. Hes confused about what he wants. Its somebody whos just realizing that he has these feelings. And Josh [Gad, who plays LeFou] makes something really subtle and delicious out of it. And thats what has its pay-off at the end, which I dont want to give away. But it is a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie.
Grahams comments could merely be the opening salvo. On Friday, Time reported an Alabama movie theaters announced refusal to screen the movie when it releases on March 17.
Naturally, social justice warrior types have praised Disneys openness and inclusivity, but might Disney have crossed a bridge too far by including their social justice warrior nonsense in a movie that depends on an entirely different demographic to be successful?
It’s the last movie I would ever think about seeing.
finally someone is standing up.
It’s a fag movie. Nuff said’
I boycotted those evil bastards 15 years ago.
No boycott needed....the reviews I’ve seen are saying the film is horrid. Emma Watson is not a good actress, and thin as a rail, so I can’t say I’m surprised.
yeah, I’m already there.
I guess Disney has a short memory. The Southern Baptist Convention boycotted them from 1997 to 2005 over stuff like this. And Disney felt it too.

“The Southern Baptist Convention boycotted them from 1997 to 2005 over stuff like this.”
Why did the SBC drop their Disney boycott in 2005?
I’m in full agreement.
I’d also avoid Logan too as I just got back from it and it’s full of subtle political propaganda (all the bad guys are white evil corporationy people and all the good guys are minorities and illegal immigrants trying to get to Canada where they’ll be “safe”)
I have been boycotting all things Disney for the better part of 20 years.
Disney was always the Family company. Now they’re just a bunch of queers and weirdos making gay porn. Go to Universal instead.
Good for Franklin Graham. Christians should also spread the word to other parents so they know what they are exposing their kids to if they go see the movie.
Darn! Just darn!
I'll have to miss it!
Nuts! I say! I missed Brokeback Mountain, too!
“something really subtle and delicious...”
Nuff said. Gag.
Thank you, Franklin Graham.
The movie Bitter Harvest was very good, about the Communist brutal tryany over Ukrainian farming villages. I learned some history and I like anything anti-communist.
I was employed at Disneyland from age 18 to 26 (1989 to 1997). I worked in restaurants starting as a bus boy and up to manager. I had grown up in the conservative Walnut, CA. Disneyland was my first real exposure to homosexual world as even back then they had many gays working in all areas of the park. Many of them were nice people, but there were also several militant ones just looking for a chance to file a homophobia complaint against someone. The first manager I worked for was transferred because a gay guy filed a complaint on him. Years later, I learned it was because he (the manager) refused the gay guys advances. The gay gut then accused the manager of telling gay jokes. This was in 1989. Today, the manager would probably be fired.
Many, many years ago I read with great discomfort that a number of families with young children were treated to some sort of “gay weekend” at Disney and were having trouble getting their money back. So I called Disney and asked how I could know in advance when Disney World would be hosting future gay rallies so I could avoid subjecting my family to men sashaying around fondling one another. “We don’t publish that kind of information” was the answer; so that was the end of my interest in ever going to Gay World.
