Various sources have indicated President Trump is meeting this evening in Mara-a-Lago with Attorney General Jeff Sessions to discuss the blockbuster breaking story of former President Barack Obama’s misuse of federal authority to tamper with the 2016 presidential election. Earlier today, intelligence expert Lt. Colonel Tony Schaffer called the revelations a game-changer, and one that might very well lead to indictments against a former president and members of his staff.

Thanks for posting that. Bongino is Trump’s social media guy in the White House and has been handling his social media for a number of years before he ran for President.
Bongino would likely know more than most what triggered all this and is likely correct that either the Secret Service or DOD Intelligence types detected listening devices/bugs either at Trump Tower, Mira Laga or possibly the White House itself after Trump took office and informed Trump.
Later they were able to trace the devices to the NSA/FBI or some other US Government entity. After the agency whom the devices belonged to were confronted by Trump or a senior advisor/member of his team, spilled the beans that he and his campaign/staff were under surveillance for alleged wrong dealings with Russia.

and to think- all obama had to do was cede quietly, and respectfully like nearly every other ex president has- and none of this would have happened-

For a land line there would. Especially since a lot of business calls are actually on the internet using software like Sykpe only more secure.
You could just cite a fact. E.g., DC's vote in 2016: 90.9% for the Hildebeest, 4.1% for DJT.
A reasonable American would conclude there's a problem in DC.
I don’t think Obama can be prosecuted in a normal criminal court for something that took place while he was president.
