Obama administration denies Towergate: Insiders blast Donald Trump's claims Obama wire-tapped his phones at Trump Tower before the election in 'Nixon/Watergate' style scandal
Trump has accused Obama of wire tapping his phones at Trump Tower on Twitter
The president tweeted that Obama had been spying on him in October
He claims the phones in Trump Tower were 'tapped' before his election victory
A former senior intelligence official said 'it's highly unlikely there was a wiretap'
According to official, wiretap can't be directed at US facility, without probable cause the phone lines were being used by agents of a foreign power
The Obama administration has denied President Donald Trump's claims that Barack Obama wire-tapped his phones at Trump Tower before the election.
Ben Rhodes, the former policy advisor for Obama, blasted Trump's accusations on Twitter: 'No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you.'
Rhodes' response came shortly after Trump fired off a flurry of tweets early Saturday morning claiming that the former president had been spying on him in October, a month before his election victory.
'Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my 'wires tapped' in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!'

steady: wait until the legions march into the crease and then take them all out with enfilading fire from the flank.
Buggee.
If you were going to ask me, I would say that he is doing it because he knows the media will obsess over it for the next 24 to 48 hours, they can’t help themselves. Then he will say and/or do something else while occupied. If there is proof, then it is designed to get Obama appointees fired.
I think your tagline is having a seizure...or having too much fun.

Anybody have dibs on TOWERGATE?
How about BH20Gate, with superscripted 2.
Why can’t Trump fire all Obama appointees?
Americans must remember...there is no,
NO “Obama administration”. That is over and
replaced with the Trump administration as per
our constitution. Any political action on the
part of another group to subvert, or obstruct
the current administration is sedition.
It became known as Obamagate right after Trump’s first tweet this morning.
#OBAMAGATE
The media will try to rename it, but they are outnumbered.
It’s #OBAMAGATE
I believe there’s documentation that they did indeed request it.
I’m willing to bet that this story; Towergate will have much longer legs than Russia-gate. Towergate seems far more credible, now that we know what Obama really is and the sort of people he surrounds himself with.
“Just a day before the 2016 election, Mensch reported that ‘sources with links to the counter-intelligence community’ confirmed that a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) had granted a FISA court warrant in October to monitor activities in Trump tower.
On Wednesday, a New York Times report said White House officials took efforts in the closing days of the Obama administration to analyze and spread information about Russian election interference, driven by a concern that the material might get buried by Trump.”
There it is in black and white!
He wants to get them busted for something first. If all he did was fire them, then he would be a political hack. Get them to take a fall over committing an illegal act is more effective.
The Obama Administration denied it? What does that mean? That administration doesn’t even exist today.
Has Obamba himself denied having any knowledge of this?
Sounds like WiretapGate to me.
Wonder if Val shacking up with now Obama has any ties to the wire taps?.
