I like that term Obamagate. Absolutely. Let’s start using it.

They still largely control the "prosecutorial apparatus." What part of conspiracy and multiple traps laid don't you understand?

Want to loan them your Mightymouse cape, lol? "Here I come to save the day!"

We all know they were intercepted, because it happened to Flynn, the US-persons information wasn’t minimized, with no FISA warrant, and all 17 agencies were allowed to have the raw data.

But, as you infer, that’s the real story, not the tapping of one building, although that’s a huge attention-grabbing story too. Bigger story is that Fed resources were used against private citizens (Flynn proved it) by the Obama regime.

it has made the Swiss boulevard press! Trump wirft Obama vor, ihn abgehört zu haben

It is only an overview and, thankfully, no bias (yet). But it is there!

“(i.e., people who get all there news from Twitter).”

Yikes. Did I actually post that? I meant “all their news...”

I’m either

A) Getting senile or
B) Need more coffee.

I prefer the latter.

“This is McCarthyism!”—There was an FR thread about a day or two ago suggesting that Trump should use this line of counter-attack :-)

When the person with ultimate authority is not an Obama-ite...the outcome is no longer in doubt.

Trump can (with some reasonable amount of preparation) likely have ALL the no-longer-in-government Obama crew simply arrested for dozens of Federal felonies: all about stuff which has been in the news before, and swept-under-the-rug-but-still-within-statute-of-limitations.

The problem YOU are referring to, is made much worse by the fact that the Senate is slow-walking each and every Trump nomination: especially compared to how they both bent over for and/or fellated Obama. AND the fact, that it seems much worse than it is, by the fact that Trump (in the day-to-day MSM) is portrayed as "rocked back on his heels" and "losing the initiative".

But many Dems are pointing out, the constant over-the-top drumbeat, is moving most of the soft-Trump and undecideds, firmly into his camp: which promises doom for the Dems at the next election.

What *does* bear watching, is the in-your-face open rebellion/sedition (California, or is it San Fran, withdrawing from the FBI anti-terror task force; the judge in Florida calling it "unconstitutional" for county authorities to hold illegal immigrants in custody for ICE). It will be interesting to see if Trump chooses a purely political solution (withdraws funding, federal aid, and leaves them to swing after the next terror attack), or openly prosecutes these posturing doorknobs for sedition or other felonies.

He could refer to Obama as former President McCarthy.

Comey reported something to Congress on Thursday that Schiff didn’t like, and Gowdy was ecstatic about:

This seems kinda huge.

It’s looking like Obama laid a bunch of risky traps for Trump with the expectation that Hillary would win. But instead Trump won and is now in a position to expose everything.

It was a huge gamble by Obama. He was going to vanquish the Republicans by having their presidential candidate get nailed as a traitor in collusion with the Russians. That outcome was so tempting that he bet everything on it.

The question now is whether he had a contingency plan to cover things up in case the impossible happened and Trump won. That’s probably why ValJar was brought into the Obama compound — to help coordinate or shore up plan B.

Or maybe this is just Saturday morning overextrapolation. But if there’s any substance behind Trump’s tweets, I don’t see how this can be anything but huge.

“turned down by the courts”

so far as i can understand as of this moment, from various online sources:

apparently the obama administration tried to apply to FISA to tap all the lines into trump tower, including those of a russian bank, for the relatively narrow justification that the russian bank was likely guilty of some wrongdoing. Apparently the FISA court turned them down on the overly broad wiretap request, but later granted a tailored version of that request to tap only the lines leading to the russian bank inside the trump tower.

apparently the obama adminstration went ahead and tapped all of the lines into the trump tower including the 2016 trump presidential campaign.

imho this would be watergate magnitude information, and could lead to criminal indictments inside the intelligence agencies against officials that exceeded the narrowly tailored FISA wiretap order against the russian bank. a prosecutor could follow the money and follow the paper trail all the way to the white hut and even potentially obama himself.

iow this story has watergate redux written all over it.

as for trump releasing this info on a saturday morning, another potential reason for the prima facie odd timing is that a saturday morning tweet minimizes fluctuations in the stock markets, which don’t open until monday morning. by that time, there is a news cycle consisting of the sunday talking head MSM political pundits and their guests. calmer heads should be able to prevail and (ideally) ensure that the financial analysts will take a more calm view than the political pundits and the worst of the chicken little skitters should (in theory imho) be over by monday morning when the stock markets open. (i suppose we will have to wait and see.) but trump being a businessman with his extensive business background is very unlikely to take any steps (even on twitter) without fully doing the stock market effects calculus beforehand.

Btw..i thought FISA warrant that obama tried to get on Trump was denied.

If that is true and he was still bugged then people should be in jail.
