March 3, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) - Is the New York Times signaling that Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch is pro-homosexual, in the same way that it reported that then-Education Secretary nominee Betsy DeVos was a friend of LGBT rights?
Conservatives and same-sex/transgender activists are debating the significance of a Feb. 11 article by veteran Times reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg. It reports that in his personal relationships with homosexual friends and co-workers, Judge Gorsuch has been very approving of homosexual relationships.
Gorsuch also attends a socially liberal Episcopal church in Boulder, led by a pro-LGBT female pastor, Rev. Jill Springer, who reportedly supports homosexual marriage.
The Gorsuch confirmation hearings are scheduled to begin Monday, March 20.
LifeSiteNews reporter Matthew Hoffman, in his in-depth report on Gorsuchs judicial philosophy, his private moral views, his church, and his interactions with homosexuals, describes a man who differs in some big ways with the jurist whom he could replace and to whom he is most often compared: the late Antonin Scalia.
Gorsuchs liberal Episcopal affiliations and his ambiguous views on some social issues have resonance with those who find him uncomfortably similar to David Souter, a vaguely conservative Republican and Episcopalian whose views on social issues were largely unknown when he was appointed to the Supreme Court by George H. W. Bush in 1999, Hoffman writes. Souter went on to side with the Supreme Courts liberal wing in crucial decisions upholding Roe v. Wade and striking down Texass anti-sodomy law.

Dude, seriously, the New York Times routinely lies.
It’s less than 50/50 that this is accurate, too.
Probably 20/80 with the lie being 80.
President Trump, Please consult with the Almighty before going through with your nominations. If not, there will be TROUBLE ahead. You can count on it. Just read the Bible.
at least he’s not a snake handler. He’s not a snake handler is he?
Besides, Souter's decision here was the right one. Consenting adults can stick whatever, wherever.
The Heritage Foundation told Trump this was their #1 pick from the list they gave him!!! I don’t know that I believe ANY of the reporting on Gorsuch Billy Graham, and MANY other pastors are EXTREMELY happy with Gorsuch!!!
I have never met a Catholic who converted to the Episcopal cult who was not radically pro-gay and radically pro abortion.
Can you offer proof OTHER than what the Times says?
Because this sounds like psy-ops in order to turn voters against Trump.
You know, just like everything else the Times writes.
Junk and fake news as usual from the NY Slimes!
This is the third post from you about Gorsuch in a few days from the same source...New York Times...
Trump team maybe didn’t consider who his pastor was. No vetting process is fullproof. If he can separate his own views from the Constitution and community norms and religious rights to refuse service to those whose morals are sinful and repugnant, that would be good.
The string “constitution” occurs only once in this article. Talk about missing the point.
Ummmm...
I’ve got my plate, my spoon, my knife, and my fork...
I’ve got my favorite liquid refreshment.
I’ve got my napkin in my lap and my elbows aren’t on the table.
Okay now, where’s our own? Let’s eat!
Folks, seriously, who needs the Left to destroy us?
“Besides, Souter’s decision here was the right one. Consenting adults can stick whatever, wherever.”
If that was the decision of the Texas Supreme Court...fine. The Federal gov’t. has no Constitutional authority to overrule states on this issue...unless -of course - you start “seeing” all sorts of “implied” rights in the Amendments. But that is a slippery-slope towards judicial tyranny.
You may be right, but that church he attends sounds like they don’t believe much from God’s Word. I’ve been pro-Trump since June 2016, but on side of him that does NOT thrill me is his approving relationship with homos of all different stripes.
Based upon the reasoning in the article, if Gorsuch will be a pro homo vote because of the church he went to, then how do we explain Princess Pelosi and Justice Scalia as having different position, yet both belonged to the Catholic Church?
I say beware of the NY Slimes.
Wow! You are so easy to roll.
What difference does his personal opinions make. He is a strict constructionist and will base his opinions on what is in the Constitution
I never trust the anti-American, pro-Communist New York Slimes. Why would I trust it this time? I trust the judgment of President Trump.
You are letting Fake News confuse you. Stop it
